I Can't Help It
Chapter 38.
It was a bright Saturday morning.
It's been a week since Harry's birthday party, and I haven't spoken to him outside of school since. I missed him. And I really need to tell him that after I graduate, I'm leaving.
I walked across the green grass, listening to the birds chirp, and the cold breeze whipping at my face. It wasn't a kind of cold that hurt, but a kind of cold that felt refreshing.
I dug my hands deep into the pockets of the pea coat, as my pond came in to veiw. I walked down to the water and sat Down on the wooden bench that held many memories.
I thought about possibly finding someone new n college. The thought made me cringe. To be honest, I didn't want to be with anyone but Harry.
Everything about him made me happy. Just to see him smile, made me feel like I won the lottery.
" Always here." I didn't even have to turn around to know who it was.
" Your here just as much as I am." I said. He sighed, sitting down on the other side.
" Never said I wasn't."
I didnt respond. We sat there in silence for a little.
" You know I love you right?" I asked. He nodded.
" Of course. You know I love you?"
i nodded. This was going to be hard to tell him. Maybe I should wait. I don't know what to do.
" I really like this spot." I said looking around.
" I know you do."
" Do you not?"
" No I love it."
that was good.
" look." He pointed at the fish jumping over the surface of the water, but his wrist caught my eye.
" You're wearing it?" I asked. He nodded like nothing ever happened.
" Yes. Of course."
" I thought you didn't want it."
"l thought you weren't cheesey." He challenged. I knew exactly what he was talking aboutt. I rolled my eyes.
" I didn't know what else to write!" I deffended the note. He scooted closer, wrapping his arms around me.
" I thought it was cute."
