Picture Perfect

Pain

"Carson?" I uneasily maneuvered my way around the boys eager to confirm my accusation. It was a tad unsettling that when I saw him. A certain misery washed over me. But I pushed that aside and tried to be the picturesque girlfriend that I needed to be. His warm smile greeted me along with suspicious eyes trained on the famous men behind me.

"Hello, babe. Surprise!" He said a little unenthusiastically. I smiled slightly, and engulfed him in a hug. His strong familiar arms could not have felt any more wrong than it already did. When I pulled away, Carson rushed me into a kiss, extremely passionate for someone who isn't a fan of PDA. I knew it was to show the boys his place, that he was alpha, and this frustrated me. I was not a prize to be shown off or flaunted. I removed myself from him, and turned away so that I wouldn't have to meet his scrutinizing eyes.

"Umm... boys, this is Carson. Carson, this is... One Direction," I motioned to them, ready to get out of this conversation. Louis, sensing my unease, sent me an apologetic look and strode up to him.

"Louis," he informed him. Louis shook hands with Carson who only had eyes for Liam. Harry took to Louis' lead following behind him, as well as the others.

At last Liam and Carson exchanged a few words. I feared that my boyfriend's harsh gaze would intimidate Liam and make him nervous for he only resembled a puppy to me. But surprisingly, Liam stood tall and only returned what Carson was dealing out. I sat a little smug at Carson's taken aback expression.

That's right, big boy. You're not the only tough guy around here, I thought snottily. Trying to snap out of it, I forced myself to join hands with Carson hoping it would cause old feelings to surface. No luck.

But I watched as Liam's eyes instantly turned away from us. Frowning, I sat mindlessly as the boys became acquainted. Very awkwardly, if I do say so myself. Drowsiness began to dawn on me, and a hearty yawn was released from my mouth that had not uttered a word for a while now. Carson noticed my drooping eyes, and helped me stand up.

"Where's you room, baby? We'll head on to bed," he coos in my ear. This jolts me awake, and I look at him in confusion.

"You didn't get a room?" I ask. Carson looks at me strangely like that is the most outrageous idea to have ever crossed my mind. But the fact of the matter is, it's not crazy. It's he who is being crazy.

The boys are paying for this hotel room for us. Not Carson. I'm not sure how to explain it... but he
shouldn't abuse the hospitality of Harry, Liam, Niall, Louis, and Zayn. It just wasn't right. For him to drop in without any warning and then expect them to welcome him with open arms is just absurd.

I ignore the nagging red flag inside of my head, and bid the boys a goodnight. I lead Carson to my room, and shut the door with a soft click.

After I locked the door, I whirled around to look at Carson.

"What the hell! You can't just show up! None of the boys invited you, I didn't invite you, and now you're taking advantage of their hospitality to me. What are you even doing here?" I shouted.

Carson steadily looked at me, saying, "I don't trust them. Five boys, and one girl? It seems a little suspicious."

"Suspicious?" I gasped. "You know what looks suspicious? You, sneaking into their hotel room. What is going on, Carson? This isn't like you."

Carson walked over to me, and set his hands on my shoulders. "Taylor, I want you to leave. I want you to quit this job. It's not a good idea."

"Are you crazy? No! I will not quit this job."

Carson slid his hands down to my arms, squeezing them painfully.

"Taylor, do as I tell you. I am telling you to quit this job."

"Ow, Carson! Why are you hurting me? This isn't going to get you anywhere with me."

Carson's eyes glared at me, fire burning within. His hands found my wrists, and he squeezed harder. I cried out as I felt and heard my bones creak.

"Carson!" I screamed.

His hands left my wrists, and I collapsed to the floor, crying, shaking. I heard grunting, and a pain-filled cry. I looked up to see Liam wrestling with Carson, and the other four boys trying to hold them back.

My arms were still throbbing, and my wrists screaming in pain, but I got up, and moved to the doorway. I saw the hotel card key laying on the floor. I guess that explained how they got in.

I ran over to the phone and called Paul.

Notes

This is a chapter that Miss M started, and I finished. Hopefully I should be able to updated at least every two weeks, but we'll see. Thanks for reading!

@Louistomlinson

Actually... Sorry to disappoint. It's the chapter she started before she left. It was actually quite hard for me to write this, cuz I don't feel right writing without her. But I'm going to for her anyway.
