I was isolated from the rest while I told the officer everything from A to Z. I really go t emotional once I explained my past to him; but he was so quite all the time. Zayn, Harry, and Charlie were waiting outside while I finished my part with the officer. He ordered my file from one of the helpers on the desk, to check my records and Bio. As soon as he read my file, I noticed that his facial expressions changed to a shocked and concerned matter. He slowly lowered the file and spoke to me calmly.
“Your Dad is Brian Jenston? And your mother is Sandra Banning?” His questioning tone made me realize that there is something not right, awaiting to be told. “Yes indeed… Officer is there anything wrong?” He breathed deeply and looked down at the file before replying to me. “(He looks at me and focuses) Your Mom and Dad passed away 4 years ago… They haven’t had any children other than you. Both of your parents haven’t written a will concerning anyone; and since you are the only child they had, all of their frozen money in the banks and the real estate deeds will be under your personal usage…” I don’t know what to do, or what to even speak anymore. MY PARENTS DIED!!!?? I GET EVERYTHING?!?!!? WHY HAVEN’T I KNOWN ABOUT MY PARENTS!!!??? “Miss Jenston, would you like me to call you husband from the outside? You don’t seem ok.” As much as I was sad, I wasn’t able to stop my sudden blush once he said husband. ZAYN ISN’T MY HUSBAND!! WELL, I WANT HIM TO BE SOMEDAY… YOU GET THE POINT!! GOD THIS IS SO EMBARISSING!!! WAKE UP GIRL AND FOCUS!!!
I nodded lightly as I cried my shocked reaction from what I just heard. My parents passed away from 4 years? I never even got the chance to say good bye or even see them once more before they left. It’s true that they didn’t like me and they abandoned me when I was fragile, but still these are my legal parents. I didn’t notice how Zayn was now beside me on the other chair; I guess my thoughts and tears made me doze off reality for a bit. “Baby what’s wrong …? (He dragged me from my arm and made me lean in his chest as he pulled me closer and closer in his calming embrace.) Calm down, everything will be fine love I promise …” My hazel eyed man made me relax as I cried my last tear drops in his hold. “(I moved back to my seat and I breathed deeply) Officer, can you please explain to me how did this happen?” I told the officer and he nodded; my innocent Zayn didn’t understand what was going on. “They were on a cruise ship and in the middle of the sea; the ship’s engine heated and it bursted into flames. No one survived since it all happened with no further notice. Miss Jenston, you are now in the hold of 40 million dollars from the bank accounts, adding to the real estate deeds your inheritance will be 63 million dollars. I will do my calls now and I will make sure they handle it your bank account.”
I froze stiffer once I heard the disaster story of my parent’s fatal death. I AM AN OFFICIAL ORPHAN!!! GREAT!!! AND I’M ALSO A MULTI MILLIONAIRE !! Zayn was really speechless just like I exactly was; I can’t believe that I now lost my parents and gained a lifelong inheritance! “Officer I don’t have a bank account, I’m sorry.” I spoke weakly as I was still stiffened up. “It’s fine you can move them to mine Sir.” Zayn quickly announced; I don’t know whether to be happy or sad now! I can do so much with this fortune, I can help nana Barbra to close her shop and relax at her home, I can live on my own with Charlie and Lindsay as I always dreamed. I can go back to University and even enroll Charlie!! I just hope the prior issue with Melrose gets resolved quick though…
