Escape Part 1
I entered the door of this vulgar club, and I could have almost puked from the smells of cigarettes and alcohol. It has been a long time since I entered such places, that I almost forgot my past. Men on the left and the right with different night girls on each table; flirting with these disgusting creatures for a pay off at the end of the evening. “Hey beautiful are you alone?” A drunken guy came up to me with his glass pouring some of his drink clumsily. I walked faster as my eyes finally spotted her. She was laughing with a pip cigarette in her hand; sitting there like she didn’t do anything to poor Maddison. I breathed in before I walked up to her with a fake innocent smile.
“Hello Melrose! It has been a long time!” She looked at me with a shocked face; I guess she didn’t expect me to be alive till this day. “(She chocked on her cigarette and managed to talk) Well look what the cat dragged in… How have you been Charlie?” I swear I wanted to rip her face after I saw her smirk; but I had to play along to save my dear old friend. “I’m ok ma’am, I heard that you opened a new place, I just want my job back if that is possible?” I guess she started to believe everything I was telling her, because she crossed her hands and looked at me with disgust; just like always. “Well, I do have a shortage in dancers… I suppose Maddison can help you with the routine for tonight backstage. Go to the right and tell her that I sent you.” I didn’t believe that this woman can be so easy to fool, but at the same time an evil mastermind when she wants to. “Thank you ma’am, I really need the money because I am having some money iss-…” She cut me off from my acting plead and spoke: “Stop bothering me with your stories kid; go …” She waved her hand at my face and she groaned wickedly; I made my way to the back stage as the adrenaline pumped in my veins. I’M ALMOST THERE MADDIE, ALMOST THERE…
I went back stage and to my shock there was a few new girls that were hired, they kept eyeing me up and down and for a moment I thought my clothes are hideous or something (http://www.polyvore.com/comfy_teal/set?id=95030515); but they weren’t! Harry picked those for me once, when we went shopping together. SILLY GIRLS I HAVE SUPERSTAR BOYFRIEND THAT LOVES ME TO PIECES STOP LOOKING AT ME! I targeted one girl and I asked her where can I find Maddison, she pointed with her finger to the room straight ahead. I jogged and knocked the door softly. “(I heard her sniffling her nose, she definitely is crying) I-I’ll be out in a mi-minute…” She broke my heart from her trembling voice; I couldn’t control myself from tearing up as well. I knocked again on the door, because I couldn’t tell her anything that might make the other girls suspicious. I heard her footsteps walking closer and closer towards the door; and there she was, my best friend with her sobbing eyes. Her eyes widened at me and her jaw dropped from the shock she got; it was as if she wasn’t expecting to see me anymore. I pushed her inside the room and locked the door behind me, just to make sure nothing/no one is going to stop the plan. I hugged her tight as we both started crying the pain and agony of her case. I forced my tears to stop as she blew her nose and looked at me with an amazing smile. “Pack your stuff, and when I say go; we go … Deal?” She started putting everything in her bag again, as I took my phone and Dialed Harry’s number.
