I jumped from my bed as I heard Melrose’s voice shriek in high tones; she was calling me to grab my bag and meet her in the car, Damn! I thought fast as I grabbed my outfit and another one with extra shoes; I packed them deep down in my bag and to hide them, I folded my towel on top with my other belongings just in case. Yes I have to admit it I am a scardy cat at such situations, that’s why I always thought ahead of stuff. I ran from my room and into the car. We drove in silence to the club, I was thinking of an alibi for both me and Charlie. “Umm… Melrose? Can I ask you a question please? Its um… more of a request ...” I gulped my breathe as I spoke in a nervous tone looking at Melrose who was driving. “I’m Listening kid, tell me…” Phew! Her tone sounds normal; I guess I can tell her now. “Charlie called me earlier from her house, she told me that a robber broke to her house and she is scared to leave her house today, she begged me to come over and to apologize on her behalf for today… Can I go please? I’d hate to leave her in this situation (I lied a phew times in my life but this time I am a professional actress!)”


Melrose shifted her focus on the road and looked at me in silence, I kept praying that my entire lie would make her believe. “… I guess tonight is exceptional, I’ll drive you there myself.” She spoke and I jumped in my seat from excitement, but I calmed down directly before she smelled my act. “Oh no no! You don’t have to! I’ll take a cab from the Treasure Chest; Thank you Melrose, and I promise I will be home by tomorrow morning sharp.” I preceded my act and she nodded as she flicked a cigarette and smoked it with one hand, while the other took control of the wheel. As soon as I arrived to the club, I whistled to a taxi and thank god he stopped and drove me to Charlie’s house. I texted her on the way to stay at home, and that I will be arriving soon.

< After Arriving at Charlie’s Place and Settling In>

“Ok let me get this straight; we are going to go to this concert, and you lied to Melrose aka the grim reaper, and she bought it…? Hahahahah oh god! Maddie I am speechless; I bow down to the master! How good of an actress are you? LOL!” Charlie was in laughter and so was I when I told her the entire story. “Hahahahah don’t ask; do you have anything to wear hun?” I asked her as her facial expressions changed and her eyes stared at the ground in silence. (I knew she wasn’t able to pay for her house rent and be flexible in clothes; my case was better in the sense that Melrose owned our house and she paid only for groceries and electricity, which made me be relaxed and focus on paying for my tuition fees only; leaving me with extra money for personal shopping.) “O…K? Lol, thank god I over think events; come with me.” I grabbed her hand and we stood up as I grabbed my bag and we went to her room.

< A Half Hour Later >

“Come on Char hurry up!” I yelled in excitement as we both rode the cab we found outside, and we headed off to meet Lindsay. We arrived after a portion of 10 minutes to Lindsay’s place and we found her already in her car waiting outside. “You are 1 minute late; its 6:01! Hahahahah! Hope in!” Lindsay joked as we both rushed in the car. “Linds this is Charlie Rotex, Char this is Lindsay Carmane.” I introduced them to each other, as Charlie swung her hand to the front from her back seat; Lindsay shook her hand and we three giggled as she started the car engine and we drove to the stadium.

Thank god we were LA townies, I wonder how other fans from different US regions knew their way to the concert’s location.

Notes

Maddisson's deception skills are so clever! She actually made Melrose allow her to skip! I guess this shows us 2 things about Maddisson's Character:

1. She is clever for her age, and she knows what she wants.
2. She thinks of others as much as she does about herself (She thought about Charlie's outfit before she left the house); Maddision is a very considerate person and kind.

The girls are now on their way to the One Direction Meet&Greet/Stadium Concert; what will happen when they arrive? Where are the girls walking in? What will the 3 girls' reaction be (Keep in mind that Charlie isn't a Directioner.)
