****After the Short Drive Back Home****
Zayn grabbed the bags from the back seat, but I insisted to help with carrying a share of them as well. I get it that he is a gentleman, but come on I won’t be treated like a princess. We went inside and strolled on the elevator. “Where should we put these Maddie?” he asked me politely, waiting for me to tell him so he can press a button. “Let’s just put them at yours? I’ll call everyone else to join us?” He nodded and pressed level 3. “You know? Today was fun; I got to see a little bit of London! Hehe.” I giggled as I told him; he then quickly replied: “That’s all?” I squeezed his right cheek playfully and I shook my head. “Of course, I also need to say thank you for taking me out; really thank you Zayn.” He blushed at me, and I couldn’t hide my own blush either. HOW COULD PERRIE WANT TO BREAK UP?!
We reached, and he opened the door as we entered with a surprised look on both of our faces. Everybody was already here! Liam didn’t look that happy though; who knows he might have just waked up. I walked towards where he was sitting, and I hugged him tightly, but it was weird because he didn’t hug me back. Louis gave Zayn a light smirk and I noticed it once I sat beside Liam; Charlie and Harry were on a separate sofa, sitting there in silence. “Where have you two been?” That was the only thing that came out from Liam’s mouth, it didn’t even sound like a question; it sounded like he was going to slap me and knock off Zayn. “We went to grab everyone a bite to eat babe; why is my LiLi sad?” I fake pouted, but to my surprise he giggled; thank god this passed smoothly. I AM SUCH A GOOD LIFE SAVER! “I already love this whole moving in with us process!” Niall made everyone break the silence and laugh. Zayn took a seat beside Louis and Niall slowly. Charlie kept looking at me and grinning; I understood what she meant, but I was so not in the mood to talk about it. “Ay Caramel! Elle is going to pass by in the afternoon to meet you and Charlie; she’s just thrilled to see Liam’s new bird!” I blushed lightly as I sipped on my frapichino quietly; but Zayn broke out shockingly: “HAH!” It made us all stop eating and drinking, because the scoffing reply of his made it confusing for everyone; especially for Liam and I. “Something wrong with what Lou said mate?” Liam’s tone sounded high tempered; Zayn looked down for a second and then lifted his face shooking at Liam and smiling. ZAYN WHAT IS YOUR ISSUE!!?“You do know Eleanor, right Maddie?” Harry asked me kindly, and I quickly nodded. “Did you forget that I am a directioner Harry?” I smirked as harry, and the rest giggled; except for Liam who was obviously tensed again. I smelled the awkwardness from my boyfriend’s vibe in this gathering, so I decided I must just leave. “I’ll need to shower; I’ll be upstairs if you need me.” I walked like a guilty child outside; Liam didn’t even bother to reply to what I just said, it felt like that is what he actually wanted.
I really was expecting him to tell me something, hug me, kiss me… Anything! But no; he just was so tensed. I really am doubting this relationship right now. Liam is sweet, caring, loving, and everything, but still!! I don’t know anything about him personally. He never bothered to ask me about my interests, life, and point of views about different topics. It’s like I’m only his girlfriend in the title that’s all. Like Zayn for example, we talked a lot today and I was more than happy to learn different angles about him. Even the talk in the car that we shared, these things didn’t happen with Liam and I am his girlfriend!! Wait why am I comparing Zayn to Liam? Ok no, wakeup woman! I am not going to jump from one to another! Impossible! Even if Liam and I split; I will never hook with Zayn no matter how good we are for each other… Will I?
