I went back home, with a huge smile in my face. I was back to living with Starla and her dad, they were so understanding about my current situation they are basically the family I never had.

I received a call from an unknown number, I was scared to answer it because I didn’t give my number to anybody but Harry.

Me:” Hello who is this?.”

Unknown number:” Hey its Simon Cowell darling, listen I heard that you moved back to your country well that is a shame. I wanted to see if you were interested in me managing your career?, it is a shame to see you career go to waste like this. Even though I manage singers and artist, your poetry is out of this world. Hang on wait a second, someone special wants to talk to you.”

I was freaking out Simon Cowell wants to manage me???, this is unbelievable wow I am actually speechless. “Hello, hey love I heard you were a huge fan of my poetry this is Maya Angelou with you.”

What in the hell????, Maya Angelou was with me in the phone right now!!!! . My idol the person I have looked up to for years now!!, she is my idol when it came to poetry!!.

Me: “ Maya Angelou omg!!!, you are my biggest inspiration. I always look up to your poetry for inspiration you represent all strong women around the world, it is an honour of talking to you right now. Can I just say thank you, you have made me explore that I have a talent for poetry I grew to love it because of you.”

Maya: “ That is just great, I have seen your videos of you performing your poetry. You my child have a gift, it needs to be shown to the world. You are in good hands, if Simon manages you. I cannot wait to see your career blossom dear, I really hope to see you in person and come to your shows.”

Me:” Wow, Mrs. Maya that means a lot to me coming from a legend like you. I hope to see you in person too, I cannot wait for that day Mrs. Maya. “

Simon: “ Sooo, you got to talk to your idol, I made it happen for you Aubrey now what do you say do you accept the offer?. If you do I will send a private jet to your place, he will fly you here. Then we start, the following day you arrive here. If you need time, that is no problem you have until end of the week to tell me the answer. “
