Three years later
................
Annabella and I have been in comtact for about three weeks and tonight I was babysitting for her so her and her husband Jhona could go out. When I met Jhona A.K.A Alex he told me I could call him Jhona his middle name and I agreed, I am now calling my brother Alex and my little guy Al. Makes it all a little less confusing for me! As of now Al is upstairs getting ready with the help of Niall. Niall. He has been doing amazing! He's so good with Al! And I am pretty content. I have been getting "anonymous" flower bouquets twice a day for te past two and a half weeks. Niall's blowing a lot of money, but he can afford it and it doesn't make him lack with Al so I love it. Anna and I talk with eachother all the time about Niall, she's helped me sort through a lot of my problems and worries. Jhona is an amazing dad and babysitter! I was watching him with all seven kids and he was etching all the boys how to play baseball and cheering them on with a little Jessica strapped to his chest. It was the most adorable thing ever! But I have been feeling crappy this week so he's been inviting Alex over to play just so I can chill. I really didn't want to go to my house after las week so I've been at my parents and their not here because they went on their annual month long vacation this time to Italy! I'm so freaking jealous! I've been but I haven't been in about four years so I miss it.
"Mommy! Look! Daddy me match!" I turned as Al broke me from my thoughts. I smiled when Niall descended the stairs and they were dressed almost exactly alike! It was so freaking cute! I smiled and walked over pulling Alex into a hug and spinning in a quick circle earning a few giggles. I was laughing and I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist. I took a sharp inhale of breath and stiffened he laughed lightly into my ear.
"Ouch! Rejected," Niall laughed out, and I just smiled softly but he still hadn't moved him hands. I looked right into Al's eyes making funny faces and laughing and Niall's chin rested on my shoulder as we swayed and made funny faces laughing in this little house it felt just like I always wanted. This was, is, and always will be my family.
We have had the kids for about three hours and they were all watching a movie except little Jessica who was in my arms as I sat in the kitchen feeding her and humming while finishing the second batch of popcorn. She was hummin in her sleep too and we were chillin out and I was just about done when Niall walked in and took the popcorn but I suddenly felt Illl and I handed him Jessica while I ran to the bathroom I was violently ill, and when I was down I felt fine again... Weird. I opened the cupboards to get some tissues and saw something that shocked me... Fuck!
2 hours later: Niall's POV
Skylar ran out handing me little Jess and slammed the bathroom door, and now she's been distant a night only telling me she must have eatin to much cookie dough in the middle of the night last night and that she was Going to go to bed. When Jhona and Anna came I told them she dosed off and I carried her to her room. Anna looked at me like she knew I was lying but didn't push it. When I finally got Al into his crib and the downstairs picked up I went up stairs to Skylars room. She was crying and I crawled up next to her pulling her into my chest and started humming little things. I used to sing this to her when I didn't know what else to do. And well I had not fucking idea what to do! I didn't even know why she was crying! When I finished the song I pulled her to face me.
"Skylar, what's wrong?" She just shook her head and buried her face into my chest. I didn't push because I've known her forever and I know that never does any good.
"You know seeing you with Jessica and how happy you were, and how good you were with her makes me wish I could've seen you and Al that way. I feel so stupid that I didn't know something was up when. You left. But I always knew I was way out of my League with you and I just guessed you fiqured it out," I rambled on about how sad I was until she looked up and me and smiled slightly.
"I always knew I was outta your league!" She laughed I laughed and pretended to look hurt but kissed her forehead.
"Will you tell me why your so upset?" She looked at me for a moment tears building in her eyes then sighed and sat up pulling me with her. She cuddled close and took and intake of breath and began to speak.
