We walked around the mall for a while until Alek found a store he wanted to go to. For a kid, he surprisingly didn’t choose any kid shops. Does that even make sense?

I sat in one of the chairs just outside the dressing room while the guys went in. While I waited I called Rae to ask her when she was going to bring my stuff over. She wasn’t home yet so she said she’d probably come late, maybe around eight. I didn’t mind, I wouldn’t even care if she showed up at 2 in the morning, as long as she actually showed up.

As I sat in silence I couldn't help but wonder what the event was about. I felt nauseous as I thought about all the possibilities, the worst one being Harry's father going into a partnership with Carmen's. Could you imagine that? Even when we got back to the Cline mansion she would be there. Which meant my job would literally turn into a living hell. It wasn't even the fact that I was jealous of them two being together, I'm partly over that, it's just her as a person. She's everything I hate in a person

“Hey there stranger.”

I looked up at the familiar voice, it was Teagan, Rae’s brother.

I smiled and gave him a hug, “What are you going here?”

He rolled his eyes, “It’s a guys store, where guys buy suits, and it’s a surprise that I’m here?” he said sarcastically.

I immediately felt stupid, well obviously he would be here, he was always buying suits.

“What are you doing here?” He smiled

“Alek needed to buy a suit for his dad’s business party or whatever.”

He nodded his head, “Ahh little Alek, Rae told me a lot about him. By the way, I’m flattered that you guys consider me worthy enough to be a doctor.”

I couldn’t help but blush, “ I’m sorry it was Rae’s idea I swear--”

He cut me off and laughed, “It’s okay, my sister explained everything. She was forced to tell me actually. When she started asking me questions on how to make a guy jealous I thought it was for her and almost flipped out until she told me about the whole Harry thing. I can tell you one thing, he’s an idiot.”

I smiled, he was always nice to me, “Trust me I know, but keep your voice down, he’s in there too.” I said as I pointed to the dressing room.

Teagan smiled, “I’m the surgeon here, he’s the one who should be scared, not me.”

I couldn’t help but laugh. I laughed even louder when I saw the flower tattoo on his arm that Rae and I had talked about previously.

He took the seat next to me, “What’s so funny?”

“Nothing” Again, I smiled.

He leaned close to my ear, “Want to have some fun?” He whispered, “I have been dying to mess with someone since Rae got her own place. How about we mess with that asshole in there?”

“How do you plan on doing that?”

“Simple, “ he said as he leaned his head back against the wall, “I’m the doctor and you’re the nanny, and we’re still dating. He’ll go nuts.”

“How can you be so sure that he’ll care?” I laughed

“I’m a guy, I know these things. -- Plus, I haven’t had a girlfriend for a while now, so I can’t pass up the opportunity to pretend to have one”

Every time I was with him all I did was laugh. Maybe I should reconsider my choice in guys. All Harry did was make me frustrated, and all Teagan did was make my stomach hurt from laughing too much. If only he wasn’t Rae’s brother, for fuck’s sake will I ever get a break?

I was about to reply to him when Harry and Alek came out of the dressing room, suits in hand.

Harry looked at me and then at Teagan, “What’s so funny?” he asked, “We could hear you from inside there.”

Once again I was cut off from replying when Teagan stood up and introduced himself, “I’m Teagan, Rae’s brother and well hopefully soon Zoe’s boyfriend.”

My eyes shot open, Oh god, he really was going through with the plan.

“You’re the doctor?” Harry asked.

“Yeah, may I ask who you are?” Teagan replied. Boy was he good at acting, he genuinely looked as if he had no clue who Harry was. And damn, did that make Harry mad.

“Harry, Zoe works for me.” He said

Teagan smiled as he looked at Alek, “Hey little man, Zoe’s told me a lot about you. She literally never stops talking about you. You must be something special huh?”

Alek blushed and it made me smile.

“I am pretty special.” Alek said as he shook Teagan’s hand.

“That’s a nice suit you have there. I have the same one at home. Aren’t you a little too young to be worrying about wearing those darned things though?”

Alek sighed, “I hate it, but I have to wear it for a party, “ he looked at Teagan before yelling, “you should come too, with Rae”

Teagan raised an eyebrow at Alek, “Ahh, does someone have a crush on my sister.” He teased him as he poked his stomach.

“Nooo.” Alek blushed.

I decided it was time to say something, “Alright, well it was nice seeing you, but we have to get home.”

Teagan stood up, and smirked at me, he knew I was uncomfortable, “It was nice meeting you Alek, and you too Harry.”

Harry nodded and picked Alek up, they went to pay for the clothes as I was left to have a talk with a certain cheeky boy.

“What the hell,” I said as I smacked Teagan’s arm.

He laughed again, “Calm down. You have to admit it was funny watching him get upset.”

I groaned in frustration, “You just made things a thousand times more difficult, thank you for not helping what so ever.”

“Does this mean I can’t go to the party?” He fake whined

“Shut up and go try on your suit.”

He smiled at me and gave me a quick hug goodbye. I was definitely going to give him a lecture about this later.

I walked back to meet up with the guys.

After walking in silence to the car, Harry finally spoke up “Was that your boyfriend?”
“No, we dated a few times but nothing serious.”

Trust me, I did not overlook the grin plastered on Harry’s face, and surprisingly, Alek’s as well.
