I reached the beach house in record time. As i exited my car i could hear screams from the inside. My heart started to race as all the possibilities of what could have happened ran through my head.
I ran up the front steps and pushed the door open. They never kept it locked since the closest house was miles away.
I walked in and it was silence. Complete silence.
Somethings wrong,
I turned each corner slowly, not sure what was going on.
“Alek?” I yelled.
All of a sudden someone picked me up from the back, causing me to scream. I was instantly put back onto the floor, but not before laughter erupted from the jerk.
I turned to face him and guess who it was? Oliver.
My breathing got heavy, “What the hell?”
“Hey babe, miss me?.” he laughed
Oh god, I couldn’t deal with him right now. “You can’t just go around scaring people, I almost had a heart attack, fucking asshole” I said as I smacked him.
He rubbed his head and kept laughing, “Okay so you didn’t miss me. Did you miss Harry?”
I folded my arms across my chest and raised an eyebrow at him, “Where are you going with this?”
“Ehh its not really where ‘I’ am going, but more of where ‘you’ are.”

Could he be more confusing? “What?” I said, making sure I sounded just as annoyed as I felt.

Oliver smirked and directed his gaze behind me. As I was turning around, another person tackled me. Lifting me up and running up the stairs.
“For fucks sake Harry put me down!” I screamed as we entered his room.
“Hey, watch your language, children are present.”
He put me down as I saw Alek sitting on the bed, smiling at me.

“Oh my god, Alek.” I said as I rushed to sit next to him. I felt his head to see if he had a temperature, then I made him spin in a circle to see if a single hair was missing from his body. When they called me and said something was wrong, I couldn't help but think that Carmen had hit him again, so to see him in one piece made my heart warm.

“Zo I’m okay. See?” He then proceeded to flex his biceps and show me his teeth, “Strong and no cavities.” He smiled.
I couldn’t help but laugh. I pulled him into a hug, “I thought something happened to you.”

“Well something did happen.” Harry interrupted

“What?” I said as I examined Alek again.

“The kid stayed up all night crying. Have you lost your mind? What the hell do you think you were doing?” Harry all of a sudden got serious.

I decided to ignore him, it was my mouth and I could chose what I did and didnt reply to.
“Well since Alek’s fine then I suppose I’ll leave”

Harry groaned, "Alek, could you give us a moment please."

Alek nodded and left the room, Harry closing the door after him.

"I don't think you should be closing that door, Carmen might get the wrong idea. " i was being bitter

He turned around and smirked, "So that's what this is all about? You're jealous? "

"Pft, yeah please, give me some credit, I'm professional enough to not let something like that affect my job"

"Then what? Why are you running away for him?"

I didnt respond.

"Listen just be his nanny again, alright? You can have a raise."

I laughed sarcastically, "A raise? Are you kidding me? No, of course you aren't, you honestly believe money can fix everything."

"Fine, how about a raise and meeting your favorite band? I can arrange that."

"You have got to be fucking kidding me."

He sat on his bed and sighed heavily, "I'm not good at this okay? I don't know what to do in these situations. If this is because of me then I'm sorry, but Alek needs you. I've only known him recently, and although i fucking love that kid and he may like me too, its clear that he needs you more. Please don't leave him in my care alone.... I can't fuck him up too."

Daggers. Thats what it was. Daggers thrown at my heart. Boy if anyones ever guilt tripped me before then Harry just out did them by a land slide.

"I want a raise, and to meet The Neighbourhood. I also want Carmen to stay away from Alek, completely. I don't care the situation."

"But-"

"I don't care the situation" i said

"Okay. Thank you." He started to walk towards me but i pushed past him and out of the room.

My phone started vibrating in my pocket. It was Rae.
"Hey, can you make it quick i still have low battery."

"Make it quick? Have you gone insane? What's going on over there."

"I couldn't tell you even if i wanted to, because in all honesty, i have no idea myself."
