Chapter Three
I heard my name being called multiple times, but only one stood out. “Kirsten, hon, get up!” I heard my mom yell in her panicked voice. My mom never really cared for me. Just when my dad was around, or Ashlynn. And dad died last year. I tried moving my arm, not knowing where I was, or what I could do. It worked nonetheless. I shoved my self up and jerked my eyes open. Almost scaring myself. “What the he-” I looked at my mom, “ck happened?” I finished, not cursing in front of my mother. I was really confused since Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis, Niall, Joslisa, Kaitlyn, Chaianne, Cammy, Milisa, Ashlynn, and my mom were all cramped into my hospital room. They had something drawn in the colors of their face. Worry. No, guilt. “You’ve been out for approximately 2 hours.” The doctor that I did not know was in my room said. “Yeah, but wha- what happened?” I said a little forcefully. “Lack of blood and air flow to the brain. In other words, your brain slowed your breathing and blood flow to a halt.” He said. My mother started going off with what all mothers would, “I’m so sorry!” and “We got you here as fast as we could!”. Ugh, yeah, right. If my mom got me here, I’ve probably been out for 3 months. I looked around. The guys looked worried. All but Zayn. Guilt was painted in his face. Why? I looked around more. Chaianne, Cammy, and Milisa looked almost guilty. “Chai, Mili, Cammy… What all happened?” I asked. The guys, their birds, Ashlynn, and my mom stood up saying their awkward ‘we’ll be out there’s. “I think you misunderstood what happened with Zayn.” Milisa said. Suddenly, everything rushed back to me. In seconds, my fists were clenched and my knuckles were white. “Oh yeah?” I snarled. “Zayn and I were talking, yes. About us? HELL NO!!!!!!!! Hon, he was asking me if you would say ‘yes’ when he asked you out. Guess we both just got a little excited.” She explained. Zayn was gonna ask me out?
