Kiss Me

Juniper's POV
"I hope this isn't a let down," Niall mumbles suddenly from across the table. I look up from my menu to gaze into his concerned eyes. He's taken me to our favorite restaurant down the street from the condo. We used to come here weekly before the Take Me Home tour and hadn't gotten a chance to come back.
"Of course not, Niall. I'm really glad we came here," I say, smiling. "It feels like old times. I missed this place."
He smiles back, blushing, and looks back down at his menu.
The waiter comes and takes our usual orders then scurries back toward the kitchen. I sigh and look out the window to our left. A small group of teenage girls has gathered outside the restaurant across the sidewalk from us, gushing and pointing at Niall and I. I roll my eyes and groan. Niall looks at me surprised and follows my gaze. He sighs and shakes his head.
"I'm sorry, Junie," He says quietly. I smile at him and shake my head.
"It's okay, Ni, really," I take his hand from across the table making him look me in the eyes. "They just love you. And when one loves something, one can get very possessive and protective. It's just how it is. And they don't hate me, I think, since none of them have glared at me yet." Niall chuckles and nods.
"I love you, Rose," He says, flashing me his killer smile.
"I love you, too, Charming," I smile back and kiss his knuckles. The girls outside look like they're about to die.
Niall and I make small talk until our food arrives, then it's all silence until our plates are cleared. What can I say? We're both very fond of food.
"You ready to head out?" Niall asks once I've finished my food. I nod and rub my slight food baby. He laughs and asks the waiter for the check.
While Niall pays, my eyes wander back out the window to see the group of fans has not left yet. I think they're waiting to talk him.
Niall and I stand and walk hand in hand to the door of the restaurant. I stop him and turn to face him. "Let's talk to the fans a bit. I'm sure it would make their day."
Niall smiles widely and nods. Leading me out the door, we immediately encounter the small group of teenagers, giggling and smiling and a couple of them crying.
"Hello, loves," Niall says, making them swoon and I giggle.
"Niall, can I take a picture with you?" A very pretty brunette asks. Niall agrees and I offer to take a group picture of them. They all squeal and group up. I snap a few pictures from about five different phones and hand them all back. Niall takes a few selfies with them and I wait patiently. I love seeing these girls so happy.
"Hey, you're Juniper, Niall's girlfriend right?" A redhead about the age of fifteen (maybe) asks. I nod, surprised any attention is on me at all.
"I'm Aria," She says. "Can I take a picture with you?"
"Of course!" I say, smiling in shock and getting closer to her. She snaps a selfie of us and smiles widely at her phone.
"Gosh, you're so gorgeous," She gushes, looking back at me. "You and Niall are so cute together I totally ship you guys."
I giggle at her use of the word "ship" and reply, "Thank you, Aria. That's very sweet of you."
"You want to sing right?" She asks, and I nod slowly, surprised that she knows that.
"Niall tweeted about you once," She explains, giggling. "Let's hear you sing! I bet you're fantastic!"
Some of the other girls squeal in agreement with Aria and I look nervously over at Niall. He takes my hand and whispers in my ear, "You can do it, Junie."
I nod and clear my throat. Taking a shaky breath beforehand, I sing the chorus to More Than This.
When I finish, the girls are gaping and smiling at me. After a moment of silence, they squeal again, a few jumping up and down.
"You're so talented!"
"Why aren't you famous yet?"
"I want to buy your album as soon as it comes out!"
I laugh and thank them all for being so kind. Niall and I say goodbye to the girls and head back to his car. Niall squeezes my hand and I look up into his eyes.
"You know, all they said about you is true," He says, smiling at me softly. "You're gorgeous and talented and brilliant. And I am one hella lucky guy."
I smile sheepishly at him, playfully elbowing him. He chuckles and kisses the side of my head.
"I love you, Juniper Rose."
"And I you, Niall James."

I AM SO SORRY!
These last few months have really sucked:( I was struggling a lot with friends and school and I got shoulder surgery recently and I've been so frazzled. I promise I didn't forget you guys and the story, but by the end of the day I was just so exhausted and weak I just went to sleep.
