Maeve's perspective••••
"So this is where Liam Payne lives..." Jazzy said in admiration. I could tell she was bursting with excitement, not that I couldn't say I wasn't. I mean, I was walking into freakin Liam's house and meeting Zayn Malik, who I've had a crush on forever. Liam greeted us with a smile on his face.

"Hi Jazzy!" He said happily, bringing her into a hug. Knowing Jazzy she was most likely on cloud 9 by now.

I cleared my voice waiting for Jazzy to introduce me.

"Oh, um, right..." Jazzy said, clearly embarassed. "Liam, this is Meave, Meave this is Liam."

I noticed the knowing way they smiled at each other. I could totally see him and Jazzy together, going to Disney movies, telling jokes, and going to restaurants and eating soup with forks. I was a little hesitant to meet Zayn. I found myself over thinking it. I tended to do that a lot. Should I say hi first? Should I sit on his right or left side? I thought quizzically to myself. Then I remembered what my friends would do in this situation, just go with the flow. I suddenly had a new found confidence. So, like the blond that I was, I flipped my hair behind my shoulder, put a big smile on my face, and walked in.

When I saw Zayn my heart leaped. He was even cuter then he looked in the pictures. He smiled mysteriously and waved me over to sit down. The movie selection for the day was Toy Story 3, Liam's choice of course. Although things seemed to be going well with me and Zayn, I couldn't help but notice Jazzy and Liam. They were already holding hands, I started to get nervous. Was Zayn not interested?


Zayn's POV
I was totally interested. Look at how cute Meave looked with her silky blond hair, just like Perrie's. NO. Don't think about Perrie. Anyway, I saw how nervous she looked and thought that it was adorable. The way she bit her lip when she was thinking made her even more attractive. I hoped she felt the same way about me the way I already felt about her. She was different then all those stupid party girls that swoon over me all the time.

"So Meave...." I said hesitantly, "Are you...single?"

"Ya, I mean I'm still getting over my breakup with my ex, Jules, but, yah no, I'm just looking for the right guy." She answered plainly not really caring.

"What about you and Perrie?" She asked abruptly shaking me out of my thoughts.

"Oh um, we broke it off because..."

"Because what?" She asked clearly interested.

"She caught me drunk kissing a girl..." I said shamefully. Wow, nice one Zayn. Let's hear it. I was waiting for her to say something but all there was silence. I looked over to her and noticed that she was completely calm and didn't seem to be going crazy.

"Why?" She asked quietly. "Didn't you love her?"

"Ya of course I did"

"Hmmm ok then" she said. By the way she said that, I could tell she was disappointed.

"But I guess that if I cheated on her, my love for her wasn't strong enough" I answered bitterly.

"I regret doing it, but, it might have been for the best..." I said mysteriously, hoping she'd catch on.

With that, Meave quickly grabbed my face and pulled me in for a passionate kiss.
"Sorry," She said, blushing. "I couldn't help myself."

I looked over to where Liam and Jazzy were sitting, but they were too focused on the movie. I stared at Meave, "Oh no, it's ok." I said slyly, as I leaned in for another kiss. Yes, breaking up with Perrie was definitely for the best....
