Loving you

"Let's go out somewhere." Niall said, the next day. I looked up to the sky and saw the blazing sun. " Yeah, we should." I replied. "How about.... that new restaurant that just opened up? Prezzos, I think." he suggested. I nodded and exchanged numbers. "See at six!" I called out before I walked home.

I ran home as fast as I could; I didn't want to be late home. "Hey love," Mum shouted, cheerily. I waved and headed upstairs. "Stop right there Missy." Dad said. "I just got a call from a boy called, Neil I think-" "Niall!" I corrected him. "Anyway, he called to say, wear the prettiest dress you can find." he continued. I replied, "Thanks Dad, I will!" and ran upstairs to my bedroom. I looked in my wardrobe and took out several of my favourite outfits. "Mum! Can you help me?" I shouted down the stairs, before hearing footsteps running up to my room. My mum is a model and a makeup artist so she really likes helping me look the best.

"Okay, let's get to work!" Mum said, whilst pushing me behind the dressing screen. "Not this one; too flowery!" she cried, chucking behind her. "Not this one either; it's way too babyish! Why did you keep this anyway!" she said. She paused for a moment. " Now, this is more like it!" she handed me a lacy black dress, with a gold belt. She also passed me a pair of pixie heels. "Get this on whilst I get the make-up out. I carefully slipped the dress on; I remembered how much it cost! I put on the heels and walked out from behind the dressing screen like a model! Mum stared for moment, admiring the dress, then spoke again. "Right. Sit down; you're hair and make-up will be done!"

An hour later, the doorbell rang. "He's here!!" I cried, running down the stairs. I saw Niall wearing a cute back suit, talking to my mum. He turned and looked astonished. "You look amazing!" he said and took my hand. "He's lovely, Cassie. Keep a hold of him!" she whispered in my ear, before I joined Niall in the car. "You look beautiful, babe." he said, and kissed me on the cheek.
