the final bell rings and i walk faster than all the others, but i guess it didn't work.
"Cate, why are you running? Come on let me drive you home.." Chris says and i weakly smile and he grabs me by the waist and leads me to his car.
"Cate, what are you doing?" Harry says coming from behind us.
He eyes Chris' arm around my waist and he grabs my hand and brings me closer to him so he can whisper in my ear.
"You didn't do it did you?" Harry whispers and i look up at him and shake my head, almost reduced to tears.
Harry drops my hand and walks away to his car, stomping.

"What was that about?" i turn back to Chris looking for a way to get out of his question.
"um..he is just one of my friends." i say pushing my hair behind my ear, i try not to look him in the eyes.
I see Kaitlyn and grab Chris' arm trying to stop him.
"i think i am going to ride home with Kaitlyn." i say and peck his lips and run to her.


"KAT!" i say stopping her from driving off.
"Cate? Are you okay?" she asks and i notice I'm crying. i wipe a tear and get in her car.
i sigh.
"Kat, i need something to take my mind off everything, please." i say and she smiles.
"We are going to Hailey's house." she says, Hailey is one of her friends. She is ALWAYS drunk as son as you say the word "party" and if you are near her you are drunk too.

i don't do anything because she is driving and we are going in the direction of Hailey's house.

we are there in like 5 seconds and Kat pulls out her phone.
"Hey, party at Hailey's house, spread the news." she says to who ever is on the other side of that conversation.

we step out of the car and open the door, it's always unlocked.

"Hey girls! Wait, you only come here for a party! When is it?" Hailey asks, already pulling out bottles of alcohol. Great..
"It's starting in about an hour." Kat says and i just sit on one of her chairs, i feel the tears silently fall from my cheek.

Hailey comes from behind me and hands me a drink, i just gulp it down and recognize it's vodka. i fill up another cup and another and i notice people coming in and turning up music and dancing.

Harry's POV
"Hey man, that was Kaitlyn, she said Hailey is having a party." Lou says.
"I'm not going." i say, not looking any of the lads in the eye.
"Oh yeah, you have a date with Cate, good luck man." Niall says patting my back. i haven't told them that she let me down.
"Yeah, i have to go guys." i say and walk out of Lou's house before anyone can ask.

i waited at the movies for 2 hours just in case she would show up. she didn't.

i walk back to my car and get a text from Lou.
Louis-Hey, you might want to come to this party...you have to see this.

i sigh and drive down to Hailey's house. i step inside to see Chris grinding against Cate, both drunk, dancing on the table.
