Everything was different at Marcel's eyes. The insults in other's mouths didn't seem to bother him, everything was different.
Maybe it was the fact that for the first time in his hole life...he feels loved.
He felt loved by some other than his father and his mother.
He had friends, real friends.
Friends that looked for him to get a good advice, friends who will tell them he's worth it.
He sometimes wished that he had male friends, because hanging out with girls all the time it's kind of weird.
But HEY! he can't complain, at least he has friends.
"Hey Marcel, how's it going?" Olivia asked, taking a place next to him.
"Nothing really, just here eating--" He was cut off in mid sentence by Polly.
"Hey guys!" She said cheerfully. "Do you guys understand equations?"
"I do" Alice said suddenly making her appearence and taking a seat next to Polly in the table. "I can explain you later"
"YOU WOULD?! OMG YOU WILL GO TO HEAVEN!" she yelled wrapping her arms around Alice's neck.
"Soooo... you guy got anyone to go to prom with?" Olivia asked suddenly.
"What kind of question is that Olivia?!" Polly yelled. "We're all forever alone here!"
"Don't lie Polly!" Alice protested. "I am the only forever alone here"
"You aren't" Olivia said.
"Oh yeah?" Alice said. "I've never had a boyfriend in my entire life."
She immediately regret saying that. A wave embarrassment took control of her body.
"You will eventually" Polly said, comforting her.
"Yeah it's not a big deal" Marcel agreed.
"Soo.." Alice started. "What about the Prom?"
"Oh yeah!!! I was thinking as none of us have a date, we could go together! as friends!" Olivia exclaimed
"Yeah... it could work" Polly trailed off.
"YES!" Alice squealed. "I don't want to stay at home watching Disney films."
Marcel chuckled.
"So.. You're the only one missing Marcel... Yes or no?" Olivia asked.
"I don't know..."
"PLEASE!" The three of them pleaded.
"Okay..."
Marcel fell deep in thought. How bad could it be?
"You coming?" Marcel asked Alice.
"Mm? yeah.."
She followed him to his car.
"It's stupid, don't you think?" She asked.
Marcel freezed. Stupid? What's stupid? Hanging out with him? Maybe she just noticed how nerdy he was and she doesn't want to be with him anymore.
"The prom" She continued.
He sighed in relief.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Well... first of all, it's middle of the year." She laughed. "And second... everyone goes crazy about it"
"Yeah.." He agreed.
"Have you ever been to one?" He asked full of curiosity.
"No... never been asked." Alice said, slightly blushing
"Same..." He whispered
