When You Let Your Heart Win
“@Louis_Tomlinson: only my girlfriend would forget to wear/pack a bikini for a beach date xD”
“@LiveWithStyles: @Louis_Tomlinson is she wearing clothes…?”
“@Louis_Tomlinson: @LiveWithStyles yes :( x”
“@twerkwithme: @Louis_Tomlinson is she wearing too much clothing for your entertainment? ;)”
“@Louis_Tomlinson: @twerkwithme YES!”
“Get off your phone, you loon.” Teddy laughed, making me look up at her, and watch her run in from the water.
“This is sorta like Baywatch.” I smirked laying my phone down, leaned back on my elbows and watched her slow to a walk, up towards where I was sitting.
“I’m wearing clothes.” She scoffed.
“That’s why I said ‘sorta.’” I smiled up at her.
“Mhmm.” She rolled her eyes, turned around and sat down on me.
“Am I that heavy?” She frowned looking at me.
“No.” I shook my head. “I was kidding.”
“You don’t joke about a girl’s weight.” She pouted sliding down in between my legs and looked out at the ocean as I dug my face into her neck.
“I’m sorry. I’m an idiot.” I apologised wrapping my arms around the top half of her body. “But I’m glad you didn’t wear a bikini.”
“Why?” She laughed. “I’m basically wearing one.”
“Underneath your clothes.”
“Good observation, babe. Should I applaud you?” She giggled.
“Funny.” He laughed. “Very, very funny, but you don’t wear thong bikinis.”
“How do you know I’m wearing a thong?”
“I look, babe.” I snorted. “I look more than you think.”
“Stop being a horny man.” She huffed slapping my arm.
“Wear more clothes then.” I smiled adjusting quickly and ended up flipping us over with me on top of her.
“Don’t!” She squealed. “You’re going to get sand in my hair, let alone other places I don’t want sand.”
“That’s why they made showers, babe.”
“Sand is really hard to get out of places.” She laughed.
“I’ll help you.” I smiled.
“Of course you will.” She rolled her eyes at me.
“You think I meant that in a sexual way?” I laughed.
“Yeah?” She looked at me like I just went mad. “You meant it that way, right?”
“No.” I answered as I continued to laugh about her assumptions. “Is that all you think I think about?”
“It mostly ever is.”
“Alright, I did mean that in a sexual way, but sex isn’t on my mind 24/7.” I gave up.
“Just most of the time.” She laughed.
“Nope.” I shook my head. “You’re wrong.”
“What is then?” She asked.
“You.” I whispered leaning down to peck her lips quickly.
“Okay.” She rolled her eyes and pushed my shoulder.
“You think I’m lying?” I asked looking at her closely.
“Yup.” She nodded and got up.
“But it’s the truth.” I smiled grabbing her hand and pulling her back towards me.
“You’re just trying to get laid.”
“I don’t have to try.” I laughed, but I was being honest.
“I’m not easy!” She scoffed pushing me back some more.
“I didn’t mean it like that.” I laughed getting to my feet and pulled her into me again.
“I’m mad at you.” She pouted and pushed at me.
“No you’re not.” I smiled.
“Yes I am.” She fought.
“Teddy Bear?” I smirked as I saw her close her eyes at the name. “You’re not mad at me.”
“I’m going swimming.” She grabbed my hands and got out of my grip and walked down that beach again.
“In your clothes?”
“No.” She laughed and turned around.
“Then wh…” And she took off her shirt. Fuck. “Oh.”
“Stop being a guy.” She sang prancing around.
“I’m no… don’t you dare take off your bra.” I warned her as she went for the back.
“Why not?” She asked turning her head back towards me.
“We’re not completely alone.” I nodded at the boat where there were men cooking us lunch on the deck.
“Fine.” She shrugged and started to fumble with her shorts’ button.
“Let’s not do that either.” I nervously laughed running up to her and grabbed her waist. Trying to stop her from stripping off and exposing her bum to men that for sure wouldn’t mind watching her. Teddy is one fucking hot bird.
“I’m wearing white shorts, babe. Whenever they get wet, they’re going to be see through anyways.” She teased and let her shorts slide down her legs all before she turned around and ran into the ocean, while I’m just standing here replaying that over and over… and over again. Fuck. “Babe?” She sang bringing me back into reality. “Come here.” She smiled curling her finger, trying to entice me in. I don’t know why she does that. I don’t need much convincing to get near my wet girlfriend.
“And if I don’t?” I smirked at her as I lifted my shirt over my head and started to walk towards her and the ocean.
“I’ll just have to drag you in.” She shrugged and moved a little closer towards me.
“You wouldn’t be able to move me.” I laughed pulling her hand and having her body fly into mine.
“I’d figure something out.” She sighed softly laying her forehead onto my cheek and wrapped her arms around my neck.
“What’s wrong?” I asked pulling her closer.
“Nothing.” She whispered.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.” She smiled looking up at me. “Husband.”
“Don’t be mad at me.” I said sliding my hands down to her bum and squeezed slightly.
“I’m not.” She squealed a little. “Easy.”
“Why?” I leaned back a little. “I didn’t hurt you earlier, did I?”
“No.” She shook her head, then leaned into me. Removing that space I created when I thought I hurt her. “There’s just people watching.”
“Let’s give them something to wank over.” I smirked.
“Drop your pants and they will.” She giggled.
“Gross.” I huffed. “I didn’t need that image.”
“You’re fucking hot, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they would.” She continued to giggle.
“Maybe I should just lift you up and let them take a good look at your bum.” I whispered hotly in her ear.
“Weren’t you just hyperventilating about me taking off my shorts?” She asked looking at me.
“Well yeah, but…” Fuck, I was coming up empty.
“But, what?” She smirked.
“I like showing you off.” I shrugged. That’s the best I could come up with at the moment. “To let men take one look at you, lust over you, then they see who’s arm you’re on and they instantly get jealous because they can’t have you like I can.”
“I don’t need you to show me off.” She shook her head slowly. “I don’t look at other men like I used to. I don’t want anyone else. I proved that two days ago.” Fuck.
“Bear, I have to tell yo…”
“Mr. Tomlinson?” Someone called from the beach, cutting me off.
“You lunch is ready.” He said with the best English he could cook up.
“Thank you. We’ll be right in.” I thanked him and turned back to Bear. “Hungry?”
“What were you saying before he interrupted?” She smiled.
“I…” I stopped and watched her as she looked at me. She’s happy. I can’t let that dissolve into hatred. Doesn’t matter how big this is. “It’s nothing to worry about.” I shook my head. “Let’s go eat.”
“What is it?”
“I have no idea.” I laughed. “I told them to make whatever’s good.”
“And you trust their opinions?” She laughed.
“They eat it, why not?” I shrugged and stopped her before we got too close to where I had them set up a picnic for us. “Close your eyes.” I smiled standing in front of her.
“No.” She pouted.
“I’m hungry, let’s just go.” She whined.
“Close your eyes.” I said not letting this go.
“Fine.” She huffed closing her eyes.
“Thank you.” I smiled moving behind her, guiding her towards our picnic.
“This better be five star set up with comfy seats.” She faked being mad, but was with the mood she’s in, she half meant it.
“It’s not tacky.” I laughed kissing her shoulder. “I promise.”
“Are we there yet?” She asked.
“Babe, I’m starving.”
“Good thing I had them make a variety of food.” I mentally applauded myself and brought us to the edge of the blanket thrown out. “Open.”
“W…” She stopped and took in a breath as I moved off to the side to make sure she didn’t just stop talking because she hated it. “Wow.” She smiled. “Louis, this is amazing.”
“I try.” I sassed, which earned a playful slap in the chest from her. “SIt down.”
“Where’s the food?” She pouted.
“Let the blokes bring it up.” I laughed handing her a towel to dry off and possibly cover up, but I bet she won’t. She’s not shy at all whenever it comes to her body. I don’t blame her. She’s got a killer body.
“Babe, when I say I’m starving, it means I’m starving.”
“Obviously.” I smiled sitting down and leaned up against the pillows as she sat down beside me and leaned into me. “Want some wine?”
“Sure.” She shrugged. “Might as well get a little wine-y.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah.” She waved her hand and laid her head on my shoulder as I poured us some wine.
"What are you thinking?" I whispered handing her a glass and kissed the top of her head.
"Nothing." She shook slightly. "This view is just to die for."
“You’re to die for.” I continued to whisper.
“Stop being mushy.” She laughed.
“I can’t help it.” I spoke honestly. “You make me a mushy guy.”
“I don’t mean too.” She whispered looking up at me, but keeping her head on my shoulder.
“I wouldn’t want it any other way.” I shrugged as I looked up to the sound of sizzling. “Your wait for food is now over.” I nodded towards the men walking towards us with our food. The delicious smell already hitting us, which caused Teddy to moan. “Really? Over food?”
“Yes!” She laughed.
“Why am I not totally surprised?” I asked myself, then looked up at the men who brought us to the deserted island and cooked us lunch. “What do we got here?” I smiled politely as they sat the dishes down.
“This is Lap Khmer or lime-marinated Khmer beef salad.” The one pointed out.
“It looks yummy.” Bear smiled looking at it as the next waiter like man, explained his dish.
“This is Kdam Chaa or fried crab.
“My mouth won’t stop watering.” Teddy whispered towards me.
“Control yourself, woman.” I teased.
“This is popular in Kep. It is Ang dtray-meuk or grilled squid.” They continued.
“Ooh, I’ve never tried squid before.” I nodded looking at it. It smelt good and I’ll try mostly anything, so why not give this a go?
“This is served on special occasions but you ask for best, this is Fried fish on the Fire Lake. It has vegetables and coconut curry. It very good.”
“It all looks delicious. Thank you.” I smiled up at them.
“You welcome, sir.” One smiled and bowed as the rest did the same and backed off. “Call if we needed.”
“We will.” Teddy smiled before grabbing a plate and looked at what she wanted to try first. “Oh, why does this have to be hard?”
“You need to stop hanging out with Niall.” I laughed grabbing a plate as well and grabbed some of the salad and went down the line and got small, equal amounts of what they presented.
“I miss that lad.” She sighed.
“I’m sure you’ll see him whenever we get back.” I smirked as she clapped her hands happily a little before going back and putting food on her plate, doing the same as me, getting equal portions of everything. “Don’t overstuff yourself.”
“Why the fuck not?” She practically yelled at me.
“I reserved us a table… well it’s not really a table, but a table at the resorts restaurant tonight.” I smiled.
“Oh.” She smiled looking down at her lap.
“Nothing.” She shook her head and looked at me with a big smile. “I’m just happy. I honestly can’t explain how happy I am.”
"Oh yeah?" I smiled. "Why's that?"
"Because I got you for the rest of my life." She smiled some more. “Even though I don’t love how much money you spend on me, you spoil me and make sure I got everything I want or need. You’re just perfect. You’re mine.”
"You're serious when you said you wanted to marry me." I didn't ask, I just pretty much stated to myself and automatically started to hate myself.
"Definitely." She nodded with a big grin.
“Promise me something?” I sorta mumbled.
“Depends what it is.” She teased.
“Teddy, I’m serious.”
“Oh.” She frowned looking up at me more closely. “What’s wrong, baby?” She asked moving her plate off her lap and moved closer to me, running a hand over my forehead to push my hair out of her way and slid down to my cheek.
“Promise me you’ll forgive me for the stupid shit I’ll end up doing.” I said leaning into her hand.
“Just…” I stopped and sighed heavily. “Promise me. Please.”
“I promise.” She replied quickly, grabbed my plate away from me and sat sideways on my lap and laid her forehead onto mine. “I’m not going anywhere.”
“I hope that’s true.” I whispered closing my eyes as I felt her pull back.
“You’re starting to scare me.” She slid her arms down my chest and looked at me with a worried glance mixed with a terrified look. Not the kind of look I ever wanted her to look at me with.
“It’s nothing.” I cleared my throat. “Forget I said anything. I’m just overthinking.”
“Nothing.” I tried to smile.
“Are we okay?” She frowned.
“Yes.” I nodded quickly and pulled her closer whenever she slumped some. “I’m just being stupid and thinking about everything I’ve done and fucked up.”
“You haven’t fucked up anything with me, boo.” She whispered kissing the corner of my mouth.
“I really don’t understand how I got you.” I smiled.
“I don’t know how you did either.” She sighed putting on a face, telling me she was about to tell me some form of a joke. “I’m too perfect. You’re just a bloke in a boyband. Boybands, ick.”
“Funny.” I laughed nodding my head.
“It has to be your bum.” She sighed again and slid her hands down to my hips. “It’s nice and squidgy.”
“Compliment?” I raised an eyebrow at her.
“Definitely.” She nodded, then went serious and caressed the side of my face before moving to play with my hair on the side some. “You got me because you’re you. You got me because you’re stupid, cheeky and make me smile and laugh whenever I totally don’t want to. You got me just like I got you.”
“You’re never leaving.” I whispered pulling her closer.
“Nothing could make me leave.” She whispered back. “Not one thing can make me not love you. You better get that tattooed on your forehead. ‘Teddy Nichole is never leaving you.’” She giggled as she fake wrote it onto my forehead.
I hope that’s true. If I lost Teddy… hell my life would be completely ruined and over if I didn’t get to hold her, kiss her, see her every day. What would my life be like? Hopeless. Lonely. You name it, it’d be my life without her. She’s my rock. My comfort. My everything.
“I love you.” I whispered in her ear. “Whatever happens, always know that.”
to clear the air
i’ve got a lot of comments saying ‘continue this’
i did not apply that i’m quitting this
that’d be completely unfair to all of you
so if i somehow made you think that, i am sorry
i think this will make you want to ring my neck even more
and i’ve been majorly stressing over this
and this is a big reason why i haven’t updated
but i’m not sure how i’m ending this story now
if you don’t know, i have tons of started chapters for the sequel
and i have over three years for it
and this story is only getting a little over a year
so again i ask you (waiting for a slap or kick or even punch from you all)
should i end it how i have been planning since the last time i asked
or should i draw it out longer?
like possibly an extra year
and why i’m stressing over this because i have the last chapter and epilogue already fully written
some asked about the review i got
if you want to see where my post came from, you can find it here
and if you read it, just have this in mind;
i know i’m using periods where commas should be
i don’t know why i keep doing it, it’s just out of habit
i am not reflecting Teddy off of me 100%
her personality is similar to mine, but at the same time completely different
i am outspoken, but not that outspoken
i am not that pretty
i would never sleep with a guy that had a girlfriend, no matter how much i liked the guy
she’s confident, i’m absolutely not
but i do in fact don’t like Eleanor
i don’t care if i make Teddy a cunt towards her
i’m writing Eleanor and Eleanor related things how i see her
as i am with the boys, Perrie and Louis’ family
this is a fucking fanfiction for crying out loud
if i meet Eleanor (which i hope i never do) in real life and got to know her
i’d probably change my outlook on her
until then, don’t suspect Eleanor and Teddy, or any other character involving Eleanor, have nice encounters
and if the person who wrote the review is now a subscriber and reading this
i’m not bashing you
i seriously thank you for that review
i’m just clearing things up on my end
and will change some things on how i write this, as well as future stories
also from my little update thinger,
i asked about my setup
i edited the first chapter only
because a lot of you thought i shouldn’t change it
and i don’t know if you all understood what i meant
but please take a look at it and tell me if you like how i set that up
or if you’d rather me to keep it how i have it now
here’s the link so it’d be easier for you all
and tell me what you think
as well as this chapter
sorry that it took forever for me to get this up
and sorry that i can’t keep my word on when i update
if you message me
and you think it’ll turn out to be a long-ish conversation
can you put your name in the message?
a lot of you don’t have your name in your bio’s or in your username
and i like to know who i’m talking to, name wise :) xx
