Simple Mistake

Ugh. Monday.
Another day at school. Yippee.
Another day of torment.
Another day of my sucky life.
Another stupid day.
I got up and went to the restroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I then went to my closet to pick out an outfit. Who cares what I wear? No one will notice anyway,I'll just throw on the first thing i grab, I thought to myself. I grabbed my red pants and white Rolling Stones shirt. I quickly pulled on my shirt. When I put my pants on,I almost fainted.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed louder than anyone has ever screamed in the history of ever. I totally forgot that I talked to Louis Tomlinson the night before! I checked my phone to make sure It wasn't all a dream. Thank god,the texts were there. Then i heard my mom run up the stairs and barge into my room looking out of breath.
"Are you okay?"
"Are YOU ok? I just heard you scream? Are you injured?" She asked.
"Oh,that...uh...no...erm..I.....One Direction! They are coming out with their new album soon and I got really excited. Sorry" I was not about to tell her anything. My Mom is a bit of a showoff, she'll say anything to make herself look good. She'll probably tell all the other moms that I'm best friends with one of the most famous people in the world,but I don't think Louis is my friend.
When I got to school,I felt more confident than usual. Maybe it's because I talked to Louis,and he's like the king of confidence.
I went through first and second period without even seeing Ricky or Celeste,but they approached me on my way to History.
"OH GOD KAILA! DO YOU NEED A TAMPON? A PAD? YOUR PERIOD IS ALL OVER THOSE PANTS!" Ricky said too loudly.
"They're red pants." I said calmly.
"I don't think so" She said. As they were walking away, I yelled " WHEN ARE YOU GUYS DUE?"
"What?" They both said.
"Oh you're not pregnant?" I said. Where was I going with this?!?!
"Um no!" Celeste said.
"oh well then you should lay off the potatoe chips" Oh my GOSH i did not just say that. They looked at their stomachs and tried to cover them up with their blazers.Then they ran off. Did i just win? I guess so!
After school, I walked to the park. I sat down on the green bench next to the swingset,admiring the hummingbirds in the tree above me. I heard my phone go off and saw I had a text from Louis.
Louis:Hey Love,How's your day been?
Me: OMG I didn't think you would actually text me! My day has been pretty good,but it just turned great!
Louis:Glad to hear that :) I wanted to text you earlier,but I didn't know how old you were,so I just thought you'd be at school.
Me: Oh,well I was at school, and I'm 17!
Louis:That's nice,I thought you were 14.
Me:Oh,No I'm 17 aha :)
Next thing I know,it's dark out. I have been texting Louis on that park bench for over 3 hours! I knew more things about him than they say in magazines! And now he knew much about me!
Me: Louis,I've had an amazing time talking to you,but I should go, I have to do homework! Will you text me some other time?
Louis: Of course :) And i was wondering,would you like to go out to dinner with the boys and I? And Eleanor and Perrie,of course.
Me: OMG YES! When?!!
Louis: ahaha well how's next Friday at 8pm?
Me: Sounds good!
Louis: Ok then. I'll text you later on to get your address.
OMG! I ran home as quick as I could and waited for my mom to get home from work. When she finally did get home, I told her everything. She was really on the edge though,she thought I would be going out with a boy from school and tell her it was One Direction. Once I told her they would pick me up,she agreed to let me go.
Over the next 4 days, all I thought about was the dinner date. What if they don't like me? I thought. I just pushed myself through it and it left my mind. I curled my hair and was finally ready at 7:23pm. Now I just had to try and wait patiently.
