Edward's P.O.V


I kept thinking about what those guys had said to Addison. They were going to rape her. That kind of stuff scars girls for life. I have to do something to make her cheer up. Then it hit me.

"Hey Addie! Come here!" I yelled.

She came rushing into the room, "What?!"

"I was thinking.. Want to go on a picnic in the park today? It's a real nice day and I really want to spend time with you."

"I would love that." She said with a huge smile on her face.

I quickly changed out of my sweats and put on a decent shirt and jeans. I wanted to look nice for her today.

By the time I got downstairs she had already packed a picnic basket and had a blanket in her hands.
I will never understand how she did that so fast.

There's so many little kids here today. Most of them are flying kites with their parents or running around playing tag with their friends.

I saw a perfect spot under an apple tree. I love apple trees, they are just perfect, like Addie. I automatically went running over there.

When I had reached the spot I wanted, I realize that I hadn't told Addie exactly where I was going... I kind of just took off. She was only about 10 feet away though, I didn't want her to think I had just ditched her.

"Sorry I kind of just took off. I saw this apple tree and it reminded me of you. Beautiful and just perfect." I said blushing with embaressment.

She stood there speachless, then gave me a hug.

"How did I find a guy like you? You're just so perfect and nice.. I just.. I love you."

"I love you too."

I layed out the blanket and sat down. I started taking out the food when out of no where I feel an apple hit me in the back.

"Ow!" I yelped.
I turn around to see Addison standing there just giggling.
So I picked up the apple and threw it back at her. But I automatically regretted it because I hit her right in the face..

"I'm so sorry! Are you okay!?" I said half laughing.

She just stood there and stared at me, then laughed. I gave her a hug and picked her up and threw her over my shoulder.

"Edward put me down! I'm going to get blood on your shirt!" She exclaimed.

"You're bleeding?! Oh my god Addie I.."
She cute me off, "I'm just kidding!"

I set her down on the blanket and we sat and ate.
I had to admit.. She made great sandwhichs.

It didn't take us long to eat. We were just finished packing up when it started to pour rain.

We sprinted to the car and were there within 30 seconds.

I hadn't realized that my keys were in my back pocket when we were eating.. I had broke the automatic unlock and lock function on my keys. I coulnd't use the key to manually unlock it because there was something lodged in the key hole.

I used a rock to break the drivers window and quickly open the door from the inside and unlocked the doors.

Addison looked at me with amazment at how dumb I was to sit right on my keys.

This was by far the best date I've had with her in awhile.
