Chapter 5
Nialls POV
after about three hours of driving were in the mountains emily is still driving she looks tired as shit i wouldn't blame her.
"so where you from ?" I ask her trying to make conversationI'm tired if this awkward silence might as well get to know her if I'm going to be driving with her for a while
and she sure as hell is pretty maybe i can get a relationship out of this trip wait what the hell am i talking about thats crazy she probably doesn't even like me she barely even knew who i was. She says something that i miss.
"what?" i ask again
"i said in from fairfax , something on your mind you seem distracted ?" She asks
shit now what
"oh i was just thinking if we will make it to la on time " i lie
"we probably will but i bet you just jinxed it." She says as if on que it starts raining really hard . Damn it
" i told you !" She says laughing i hate driving in the rain it makes it so hard to see plus we're on mountains where we could easily go off the edge.
" How long do you think we have to drive until we can pull over and go to sleep ?" i ask slightly worried
"calm down its just rain and i don't know maybe an hour once we get off these mountains" she replies man shes calm does the rain not bother her i mean this is dangerous .
"so you have any siblings ?" i ask trying to bring the conversation up again.
"nope only child..." Damn i think she can sense as well that this is getting awkward .
"Ok how bout this pretty boy you let me start the conversation so all you have to do is listen and reply?" she says in a sassy tone while laughing. I nod my head and she starts.
"I was born and raised in fairfax Virginia like i told you. My parents when i was around twelve got me a shiz-tu bichon
and we named her Oreo i finished second in class for my last year of elementary. In middle school my parents and i moved out of our town house into a single family home but a year later in eighth grade started running into financial problems as our mortgage got higher my parents were under a lot of stress which made me worry and my grades went down slightly from a's and b's to a's b's and some c's . In ninth grade we finally pulled through on our money problem when my dad finally got a raise. Now i had a rather large group of friends while i was i. School and a lot of them were actually boys but i never really had a boyfriend because mainly i guess i had self esteem issues because i thought i was ugly my best friends though were and still are named victoria and Alison but i call her ally. Through out high school i took a shit ton of art classes because i love art my grades came up and i finished high school as valedictorian. I graduated only a few days ago actually . So thats my life up till now . Ok now its your turn." She said wow i cant believe she hasn't had a boyfriend shes so pretty, And apparently really smart.
"well there's not really much to tell my parents got divorced while i was still young and i have a brother named Greg i grew up in mullingar Ireland and auditioned for the Xfactor back in 2010 and joined the band one direction even though we ended up losing the Xfactor Simon signed us anyways it was probably the happiest day of my life." As i finish emily pulls over to the side of the road .
"Why'd we stop? " i ask
"there's a small problem .... We might be out of gas..." She replies.
Well fuck
"umm so what do we do now " i ask its raining really hard and its to late to walk anyways.
"we could go back to the RV and watch a movie?" she suggests
"well then lets go." we practically sprint out the car and to the RV once we get in we sit down on the couch and turn on Netflix .
"What movie should we watch ?" She asks
"how about titanic." i suggest i figure her being a girl she would like that movie it getting late so she will probably fall asleep anyways, wow its already almost eleven.
"why such a girly movie huh?" She questions .
"i thought you would like it..." I reply kind of nervous
"well you thought right." She answers with a grin she buys it and i get up and turn off the lights the movie starts while the thunder booms outside she pulls a blanket out from one of the dresser shelves in the bedroom and lays her head and arm on my chest and i lay my arm around her waist with the blanket around us about an hour into the movie i look down to see emily asleep on my chest. I carefully pick her up turn off the tv and walk her over to the bed. I rid her of her shirt and pants and tuck he under the covers ridding myself of my shirt and pants as well . I get under the covers beside her and wrap my arm gently around her waist pulling her into my warm embrace .
