3 days to fast
Chapter 2
Emily's POV
*beep beep* i wake up to the loud noise of my alarm yesterday i finally graduated from the hell that is high school. Thank god. But now that I'm graduated my parents said i had to get a job so now I'm a cashier at Starbucks i swear its one of the worst jobs ever because a lot of the customers are obnoxious especially here in d.c.
As i lug myself out if bed i step into the shower and start to wonder what I'm going to do with my life i mean i wont stay 18 forever eventually i want to get married with a nice job and have a family by i guess ill just have to worry about that later assuming how college tuition is way above what i can afford. Then i put on a black crop top and ripped jean shorts and leave my hair down and put on a little liner then walk out the door.
----2 hours later--------------------------------------------------------------
My Lunch break is in about two minutes an no customers have walked through the door in a while so i figure ill slip out just a little early right when I'm walking out the door someone walks in.
damn it !
"what can i get for you " i try to say with out sounding completely pissed off . I think he can sense it too.
" i was actually looking to get something thats not on the menu " he says . I don't like where this is going
"and what would that be ?" I reply trying to not act nervous.
"a ride" he answers
say no . you don't know this guy i think to myself.
"where?" I ask . Why did i just say that this is going to end badly i just know it.
"La?" He answers in more of a question than a statement.
"Ummm ok i guess let me just go tell Victoria to cover me for the days I'm gone i say then walk back into the employee only room."
What did i just do maybe i just cracked under pressure because he was cute well i told him I'd take him and I'm not backing out now.
"Victoria!" i call out then she comes out from the bathroom.
"can you take over my shifts for about the next three days i need to drive someone to la?" I ask trying to act completely unfazed by the whole situation.
"ummm i guess."she replies "but who you driving?" she asks.
"ill tell you later but i gotta go." I say because to be honest i have no idea what his name is and what have i gotten myself into.
Nialls POV
i walk through the streets with nothing but the clothes on back this sucks all i have is 4 dollars and 16 cents so i might as well blow it on coffee then i think to myself maybe i can hitch hike off of someone preferably a pretty girl.
i walk into star buck and there she a pretty girl working behind the counter i definitely want a ride from her .now i just have to ask her for the ride this situation might not be so bad after all.
