I wanted to thank you for everything you have done fore me. All the new music you have introduced me to has really changed my outlook. I'm sorry for everything I have ever done to hurt you. After all of it, I have one question for you, would you attend the homecoming dance with me? I can't go with Kelsey, and you're the only other girl I talk to. As friends of course. I just kind of stared at it for a long time. What am I supposed to do... Of course I can't really say yes, I'm already going with Niall. But even so a smaaaaalllll teeeennnsssyyy weeennnssssyyy part of me wanted to say yes. Kelsey was a straight up bitch, and I think everyone was aware of that. Especially Harry. But still I couldn't tell my boyfriend that I wasn't going to go with him because I wanted to help out a friend of mine that was still and enemy of his. I knew I couldn't say yes to Harry, and as much as that would suck for him. I was in the middle of my train of thought when..
"What are you reading?" It was Danielle. I forgot that she gets back to the dorm around this time.
"Uhhhh!.." I fumbled with the note, but ended up crumpling it into my pocket.
"It's nothing really, just a note from a kid in class..."
She looked at me with disbelief.
"Girl, I know you better than that. And you wouldn't be so nervous if it was just some random guy from one of your classes, just let me see it."
I really didn't want to fight with her on this, so reluctantly handed her the note.
"Thanks. Really Reyna, how bad can it be?"
She started reading it on her bed and I watched her eyes grow wide just like mine.
Oh my goodness what is she thinking? Is she judging me? What do I say? Should I defend myself? What do I do???
She stopped reading, and looked up at me for a second.
"Reyna, is there something you want to talk about?"
And then we talked what seemed like forever...

"And so I said I would help him and be friends but sometimes I think he wants more that." I said to wrap up the story.
"You are in one big pickle. You do realize this is Harry Styles we're talking about right? Quarterback of the football team who ruined many friendships and wants nothing to do with anything that isn't sports?"
"Yes Danielle, I am aware..."
"And you also realize that Harry has never ever shown interest in anyone who wasn't a cheerleader or a slut?"
"...Nope, I was not actually."
I really wasn't, I mean I assumed, but I didn't want to make a conclusion on the matter. It makes sense and everything, I'm just confused as to why he is taking any interest to me at all.
"Well this is weird. Even for him." She just stared at the note and slightly shook her head.
"So what do I do about it?"
"Well you can't actually go to homecoming with him! You do have a boyfriend!" She started raising her voice.
"Obviously! I mean about the whole situation.."
"Hmm.. well if I were you, I would talk to Liam about it. Privately."
"That's a great idea! I'll text him now."
"It is a Monday, he may be studying, fair warning."
"Jeez, you act like you know his life because your his girlfriend or something." I said giggling at her.
She stuck out her tongue at me and laid back on her bed.
I texted Liam right away, I wanted to get to the bottom of this.

Hey Liam! Any way we could talk soon about something?

I waited about 5 minutes..

Yeah! Tomorrow at lunch work for you???

The next day I found Liam at lunch, we both had our food in our hands and seemed ready to go.
"Hey Reyna! What's up?" He said to me very friendly. I love Liam, you could not talk to him for 70 years and he would still be kind and friendly towards you.
"Nothing, besides what i need tot alk to you about.."
"And what might that be?" He asked.
"Can we sit away from everyone? Then I'll explain."
We walked over into the grass far away from a lot of the tables.
"Alright, so what's up?"
I started explaining the whole story to him, it didn't take as long as it did with Danielle, mainly because I left out a lot of details that was really unnecessary for Liam anyways.
"...and Danielle said she thought it was really strange that he was doing that to me."
"Well.. I mean it is. He doesn't usually go for girls like you.. No offense."
"None taken. But what am I supposed to do?.."
"Well, don't egg Harry on if you're not really into him. I mean that is just a cruel thing to do no matter who the person is. I'm not saying don't help him either, just don't be flirtatious or give him any idea. Honestly, I think you're helping him in a sense. He has never ever shown interest in anything musical until you came along. you must be something special to him Reyna."
I couldn't help but blush a little. It's not like guys were all over me or even interested in me. So I couldn't help being giddy.
"I get what you're saying. Another question, should I tell Niall or Louis?"
"Considering Niall is your boyfriend, it may be in your best interest to at least let him know. Louis may be mad or not, but that's a friendship and it's completely up to you what you want to do with it. I'm not super close with Louis in particular so really it is up to you."
"Ugh, i hate it beong all up to me."
"No one does, but you have to do what you think is best."
"Thank you Liam, it means a lot."
"Anytime, hopefully this will mend things between all us guys and we can be the fantastic five again. Well we didn't call ourselves that, but you know."
"Who is the fantastic five?" I asked. I had never heard of this before so of course i was curious.
"Me, Louis, Niall, Zayn, and Harry. We used to hang out all the time and just mess around until everything happened between us."
I didn't even know. They all have so drastically gone their separate ways I would have never even guessed. It was kind of weird.
"...based on the fact that you haven't been saying anything, I'm guessing you are a little bit surprised." He said and laughed a little.
"I guess, yeah. You all are so drastically separated I would have never even guessed."
He laughed a little bit.
"Yeah, i wish it wasn't this way, but that's just how the cards fell." That's when his watch went off.
"Oh shit, I'm going to be late for class! Sorry, I need to go, catch you later Reyna!" He waved and ran away as I waved back. I was so thankful to have friends like him and Danielle. Tey were truly great people and really helped me with some indecisiveness I had.
I know now there is a lot on my plate, and with homecoming there is only going to be a lot of stress to be expected.
