Niall and I were running out of the music hall, hand in hand. I was smiling uncontrollably, but at the same time.. I didn't kniw where we were going..
"Niall!" I shouted to him, "Were are we going?!"
"You'll see!" He said looking back at me and playfully winking.
We were running on sidewalok, past buildings, past people giving us weird stares, and who knows what else. Soon we were lcearly off campus at this point.
I was out of breath and Niall and I decided to take a break. We stood there under a tree and caught our breath. All of the sudden his phone started ringing. I saw that it was Louis, so clearly something was up.
"What's up mate?... Yeah.. Yeah! We're almost there!"
*click*
"Niall, where are we going?!" I said laughing at him.
"You'll just have to wait and see darlin'." He grabed me and held me close. He leaned in and kissed me on my forehead. I got a little tingly. I couldn't tell if that was butterflies, or the fact that it was a bit nippy out. I think he felt me, because he loked at me with a confused look.
"Did you just... shiver?" He asked me with a little giggle in his voice.
"No, I just.. Okay, yes. But in my defense, it is a bit cold." I said back playfully.
"Or you're just so attracted to me and you can't contain it." He said and winked at me.
"Okay, that may be partof it.." I said smiling at him.
"Well, we need to keep on going, I promise we are almost there!" He said and grabbed my hand. We walked (thankfully) a little longer, hand in hand, and under the star-filled sky. We ended up at a pond. It wasn't a gross pond, but a pretty one with some lily pads and what not.
There were candles everywhere, and a blanket, and a picnic basket. It was so romantic, like something that you think can only be done in the movies. That's when Louis walked towards us and said,
"Well mate, everything is set up and ready to go. Don't get too frisky now." He said with a wink and walked away.
"You did this all for me?" I asked Niall.
"Of ourse! I figured since last Friday night at this time, I was less than romantic and I wanted to make it up to you." He said blushing.
He is soooo adorable, I cant contain myself. We walked over to the blanket and sat down. He opened up the basket and pulled out a six-pack of Dr. Pepper. HE GOT DR. PEPPER HOLY SHIT I LOVE DR. PEPPER ALMOST AS MUCH AS LIFE OMG. Alright Reyna, get your shit together...
"I saw that huge smile come on your face, don't think I didn't notice." Niall said to me.
"Haha sorry, I just really really really really realllllyyyy love Dr. Pepper. How did you know?!"
"Well, your roommate is Danielle, and Danielle is one of my firends, and Danielle does know you the best out of anyone here. So yeah." He told me.
He puled one of the bottles and handed it to me.
"I don't think I've had a Dr. Pepper since I left Portland." I said to him.
"What is it like? Where you live and what not?" Nial asked.
"It's really different. Here there's a lot of buildings and it is pretty dark here all the time. But in Portland there are a lot of trees, and not like small trees, but big evergreen trees. There is also a big mountain you can see it the distance that is so majestic. I know that sounds dramatic, but it really is. My favorite thing about Portland though is when it rains. Anywhere in Oregon really. Because the smell of the rain mixed with the evergreens.. There is really nothing like it."
I realized in that moment how much I missed home.. And my mom.. And my cat.. Okay i know that's dumb but I really do miss him... I guess I let it show, because I started tearing up. And then a tear fell, and then another.. Damn it Reyna.."Hey, Reyna, don't cry. I know you miss home a lot. But you have me, and Danielle, and Louis, and Perrie, and we all love you here." He said scooting in closer to me.
"I know, it's just.. I didn't feel so homesick until now.."
That's when the waterfall came. I flat out started crying. Noooo stooop. But I couldn't. He just held me and let me cry it out. He really was the best boyfriend I ever had. And this has only been going on for a week.
"I'm.. soo.. sorry.. I'm ruining this date.." I said between my tears.
"No, darling I understand. What kind of guy would I be if I cared more about the situation than the girl I.. really like. Actually, I have a bit of a surprise for you." He said.
Behind the picnic basket he grabbed a guitar. I didn't even see it. You sneaky Niall.."I hope you like this song, and it means as much to you as it does to me."
I recognized the song right away. It was Secret Valentine by We the Kings. This was one of my favorite songs ever. And it was acoustic (I love the acoustic verison better) and it was beautiful. i just listened to him. It was one thing listening to someone sing a song, it was another to watch and feel another person sing a song. He was so passionate and into it, and that was one of my favorite things, if not my ultimate favorite thing about Niall. It was beautiful. And i couldn't ask for anything better.
"We'll hope it's not for nothing at all, nothing at allll." He finished.
I just sat there and smiled the biggest smile at him.
"That was really beautiful Niall, thank you so much."
He just leaned and kissed me. it was passionate and loving, and everything I could ask for. All of the sudden his lips started moving. I had never made out with anyone, so I just kind of followed along. Our lips moved in sync, like a steady tempo of a choral ballad. After a cople minutes of that, we slowly moved away from each other. I had so many butterflies, I cold probably vomit. Thankfully, I didn't.
"You're the most beautiful girl I know." He said to me brushing my hair out of my face.
"You're simply amazing." I said back.
We layed there for a while looking at the stars for a good hour or so, before we decided to head back.

He dropped me off outside my dorm after our long walk back to campus. We didn't say much but I don't we needed to. We both knew that the other was perfectly happy. It truly was one of the best nights of my life, and I was glad that Niall and I were together. I couldn't ask for a more perfect night, boyfriend, and life.
"I hope I will be able to see that pretty face tomorrow." He said staring at me.
"Oh, I think if you're lucky you will." I said with a smile.
"Alright, sounds good. Goodnight my beautiful Reyna." He said and kissed me.
"And goodnight my amazing Niall" I said back. He started walking away, and I just watched him until he turned the corner. I was pretty tired even though Niall and I didn't really do much. I wanted to go inside and just lie down and have some good girl time with Danielle.
I was looking for my keys in my bag when al of the sudden someone ran by grabbing my hand and taking me with them.
"Hey! What are you doing who are you?!"
Ah shit am I getting kidnapped?! I'm too young for this! I"M JUST GIRL!
Whoever was holding my hand refused to let go so I had to run along with them. I couldn't tell who it was either. They were wearing a dark sweatshirt and a beanie, plus they weren't facing me so I really had no idea. Finally we were under a tree in a nearby park, I was exhausted. Through my giant breaths I managed to ask.
"Alright, who are you and what do you want?"
He didn't say anything, but just turned around and stepped into the moonlight.
"..Hi." He managed to say.
"..Harry?!"
