What I Don't Remember
Niall
“If our loves insanity why are you my clarity?” He said, singing along to the music.
“I like this song.” I smiled.
He laughed, placing his hands around my waist as I swung my hips to the rhythm. We didn’t stop dancing until we were both out of breath and covered in sweat. My mom had a fan set up in the kitchen so we went in there to cool off. There were about twenty or so guests still lingering around in various places of my house and most of them were my mom’s co-workers. I reached into the fridge and poured Harry a glass of water. He downed the entire glass before I had even poured any for myself.
“Don’t hurt yourself.” I chuckled, before pouring him a refill.
Harry had just brought his lips to the glass when a pair of hands pressed down on his shoulder.
“Hey, man.” I heard a guy say with a distinctive Irish accent.
Harry turned around and his eyes lit up. The boy standing there had beach blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyes that I couldn’t help but stare at. Harry gave him a hug before looking over at me.
“Paris, this is Niall. He is in the band.”
I walked over to him and shook his hand giving him my warmest smile.
“It’s nice to meet you, Niall.” I said, releasing my grip. “I wish I could say that Harry talks a lot about you but he hasn’t really told me anything about you or the band.”
I gave Harry a joking look as he rolled his eyes.
“Is that so?” Niall asked, playfully punching Harry in the arm.
“Ouch, that really hurt.” Harry laughed.
I couldn’t help but smile at how lighthearted the boys were with each other. They seemed to see everything as a bit of a joke which made me question if they were even capable of getting into an argument. I took a sip of water as Niall casually whispered something into Harry’s ear. Harry chuckled and then turned to me.
“Paris, the boys are having a little get together later in the evening and we really want you to come.”
I looked back and forth between the two of them as a smile spread across my face.
“Really?”
They both nodded. I couldn’t believe they were inviting me to hang out with them considering all the trouble I had put their band through in the past couple days. If it weren’t for me they wouldn’t have had to disappoint their fans in Detroit by pushing the concert back a few days. I stared down at my feet as a lady approached the three of us.
“Are you the boys from one direction?” The woman asked, surprisingly calm.
“Yes.” Niall said, looking her up and down. She had an exceptionally toned body for a woman her age so I couldn’t blame him.
The lady pulled out a piece of paper and a pen from her purse and handed it to the boys.
“Would you mind signing this? My daughter loves you guys.”
Harry took the paper.
“What’s your daughter’s name?” He asked.
“Nina.”
Harry scribbled the girls name along with a message and then passed it on to Niall who did the same. The lady thanked them and then walked over to my mom who was in the other room. Niall watched her leave and then tossed his keys at Harry who dropped them clumsily onto the floor.
“You’re driving.” Niall said, before dashing out the door.
