With a tight grip
Chapter 2
I jumped at the sudden burst of noise disrupting the silence and the blackness if my room. It was Coraline. Of coarse. She was on top of me and in my face shouting but I was seriously too tired to understand one word at first. I stared at her widely opened eyes as she spoke. I was fascinated, but the fascination was disrupted by me hearing "And Janie got us first row tickets to One Direction!" I quickly sat up throwing Coraline's daggers off of me at once. "What in the world are you talking about?! Are you serious?" I waited as she dug in her back pocket. "Does this count as seri- oh!" I snatched the REAL tickets out of her hands and scratched my head checking if they were real, because knowing Janie, she came from a house of cheapskates!
I gave Core her tickets back and my face was plastered with a face that you could read my expression from a mile away with! I couldn't believe that my sister's friend got us real tickets... And first row at that. "When and where is it!" "Um, it may or may not be... In... Ah, I don't think I should tell you yet you've had your excitement for today." She started to walk away but I grabbed her wrist and sat her back down on my bed. "Okay, okay! The concert is on your birthday, in... Los Angeles.....?" She shrugged tightly knowing I would pile over top of her in a ball! "Oh my gosh! I- I don't know what to s- say! Thank you so much!!!!" I shouted as we both started bouncing up and down.
I got dressed quickly after throwing Coraline out of my room and threw my messenger bad over my shoulder and grabbed an apple to walk to school. It is always cold in London! I don't get it anymore! As I walked and ate, I thought about my life deeply now that it was going to get way better. We always live in the states in Georgia, but dad got a huge recruiting from his military base and had us fly to England. Now that we've been here for almost a year now, I had a substantial amount of friends. My best friend Lindsey caught up to me as I walked through the school buildings. When we walked to our lockers, Lindsey as usual had terrible gossip that nobody understood! She always used too much British slang to cover up the bad words. One day I will get the hang of it! One day. "And so, my newest cheeky chap from Cheshire is moving here. He's really friendly and quite a lady's man! I told him that if he thinks he can roar up rubbish with my friends, he might as well stay in his flat all to himself!" I looked in confusion and shut my locker whispering into Lindsey's ear. "What's a flat?" "Well, actually it's like a-" "Hello ladies! How are we doing today?" A boy with spontaneous brown curly hair said as he walked towards us with his four friends. They swooshed by so quickly I didn't see any thing else... I remembered seeing a boy with not that much hair in the group turn around at me and offer a smile and wave. "BRIANNA! Did you hear a word I said?" I looked at Lindsey's eyes as they got bigger. "No, I'm sorry! I got distracted. Go on!" She calmed down and smiled. "I told you he was a lady's man..." Who are you talking about? I wand not staring at anybody!" She crossed her arms and smirked. "I never said you did." Oh. I felt myself get redder by the second. I grabbed my bags and books and walked. Then I realized, we never finished out conversation.
"Was that your friend? From Cheshire?" "Well, he's originally from there but I'm sure him and his lads basically live in hotels and a tour bus now." I had gotten confused, but shoveled to my seat in home room. I didn't care about the curly, yet familiar one because I got too nervous to look at him. But something about that one with less hair got my attention.
