ever since you said yes to marcel when he asked you to prom, everyone in school kept mocking you. they just wouldnt stop. when you were english class, you were reading romeo and juliet then someone took it away from you then said "is little juliet over her fantasizing about her little romeo, marcel?" you just rolled you eyes at them then they started singing "(y/n) and marcel sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g" you got mad and yelled "who i go to prom with is none of your concern. he might look like a nerd on the outside but hes much sweeter and cooler than each and every one of you guys on the inside. thats all that matters to me" one snobby girl said "aww,little loser sticking up for her little loser boyfriend, how romantic." she said as the whole class laughed. marcel's face was very red too. you just got frustrated and walked out the room and sat on the hallway steps. you sat there until you heard marcel say "im sorry, you dont have to go to prom with me if you dont want to. i know its embarrassing enough just to be seen with me, i cant expect you to spend a whole night with a guy like me" he said while putting his head down. you told him to come and sit down with you and he did as he was told. you said "im not embarrassed to be seen with you, i actually like you. i just dont understand why they have to be so mean." he smiled and said "oh and umm-well..th-thank you for, you know`sticking up for me back there. did you umm- did you actually mean what you said?" you smiled and said "of course i did. your honesty the sweetest guy i have ever met. i just wish they could know you and look at you the way i do" he took of his glasses and said "well how do you look at me?" you never noticed how green his eyes were then you said "a cute and sweet, innocent, sensitive guy that has a really good chance of getting a girlfriend" you said kissing him on his cheek and walking away. he blushed hard and said "wait, you l-like me?" you turned around to face him and said "i wouldnt say it if i didnt mean it" he bit his lip and said under his breath "everything you said about me was true except the innocent part" you raised an eyebrow and said "what?" he said "nothing" while smiling. this made you suspicious but you let it go.
