Summary
When a depressed Roxy Bedell moves to California after her parents split up, she realizes that she doesn't belong. The kids at her school are rich and stuck up, except for one. His name is Marcel Styles and after a mix up at the school, they are forced to get to know each other.

Marcel is an unpopular nerd at Roxy's new high school. He dresses in sweaters, dress pants, ties, etc. He gets made fun of for being smart and for the way he acts, but Roxy thinks that it's cute.
Roxy Bedell
Roxy is 15, and a sophomore. She is depressed, but tries to hide it with a smile and some jokes. She's fun to be around and was popular at her old school, but since her parents split and she was forced to move, things changed. She has low self esteem, but she is really positive on other people's behalf. She is 5'6", has dark brown hair and blue eyes, and dresses hipster.
