*Flash Back*
Alice's POV

I watch him drive away and it tears at my heart. All I can think is Don't just watch him walk away Alice! You love him, remember? but I can move. Because I'm a coward. Because I'm an idiot. Because I doesn't deserve him.
Stop it! I mentally slap myself. I need to do something. He's my best friend for God sake! I steal myself, garb my keys and tell my parents that I'll be back.

When I get to the X-Factor studio it's like a living hell. I've never liked crowds, they make me nervous. I'm not exactly the person you want to be around when I'm nervous either. Just as I start to panic and am going to go home I see Niall getting interview and, just to the left, his parents. I push threw the crowd, heading towards them. Just as he finishes his interview Niall's once sad eyes meet mine and they bright with joy.
"Alice!" he says, trying to shove his way threw the crowd.
I am swimming in a sea of people and I'm starting to drown. Elbows, hands, and forearms connect with my body and just when I think I'm going to give up, that's no use, Niall's arms wrap around me and I'm spinning.
"What are you doing here?" he asks after setting me down. His eyes revel just how happy he is to see me.
"I wanted to see you perform and, honestly, the T.V. doesn't do you justice." I tease.
He smiles and is about to say something when a camera man comes over with yet another interviewer.
"So Niall, you're about to go on but first we would like to ask you a few questions. First off, is lovely lady your girlfriend?" the host asks, gesturing to me with a wink. His comment for some reason makes me blush and I look to the floor, hoping they won't notice.
"Nope," Niall says with a light laugh. He pulls me closer by wrapping his arm around my waist, protecting me from the flirty host. "She's my best mate, has been ever since I can remember." I look up and smile at him. For a few seconds we are lost into each other's eyes. That is until the man coughs and Niall looks away, not taking his hand from me. The host man looks over at Niall's parents and says "So, Mr. and Mrs. Horan, are you proud of Niall so far?" and extents the mic to them. They both beam and direct their attention to the man in the man in the monkey suit.
"Of course we are!" Mrs. Horan answers for the both of them. "He is a very kind young man and we believe in him, just like we always have. We'll love him no matter what happens today." At the last part she turns to Niall with a smile.
"Well I hate to brake up the happy party but Niall you're on. Good luck mate!" The host says almost shoving him onto the stage.

Niall's POV
C'mon Katy! I think. Just one more yes.
"Oh alright," she says with a sigh.
I jump up in excitement and the crowd cheers. I made it! I am in X-Factor!
I walk off stage with my head high and my feet barely touching the ground. Alice wraps her hands around my neck as soon as I'm past the curtains. I immeditatly pull her Into an embrace.
"I knew you could do it," she says into my ear and then pulls back. "You sounded great out there!"
"Thanks Allie."

*Flashback over, Present day*

"Earth to Niall," Allie says, snapping her fingers in my face.
"Wait what?" I look around confused. The guys chuckle and Alice rolls her eyes in annoyance.
"What Disney movie do you want to watch?" She says, putting her hand on her hip.
"Woah!" Zayn yells in mock surprise. "I think you've gone on too many shopping trips with Lou. Tone down the sass chica."
We all snicker but she just gives us the death stare, not taking her hand off her hip once. After we recover she turns to me smiling and flips her hair over her shoulder.
"What movie Niall?"
"I, uhh, um, N-Nemo's fine," I manage to reply studdering. Ugh, what'd she have to smile?
"Yay!" she screams, hugging me and plopping down on the love seat beside me. Nemo is her favorite movie and we watch it at least once a week.
"That's not fare!" Harry whines. "She's your best friend AND she used her lady charm!"
"Sucks to suck," she replies over me simply with a shrug.
I swear I could quote this movie word for word. Nemo's gone again! Oh joy!

Notes

I'M A HORRIBLE PERSON!!!! I said I would post this this morning and I had to leave so I decided to do it later. When later came I sat down at the computer and my friend came to take me to their house. I AM TERRIBLE!!
Please don't hate me!! Anyway, what did you think? It's a bit longer then normal but that's a good thing! I think......
