Teenage Movie Night (Niall's P.O.V.)
*Flash Back*
Niall's P.O.V.
It was a summer Friday night so it means that's a super mega movie night with Alice. Ever since we were ten we would come over my house and watch movies together. Right now we were watching the old superman movie.
I feel something suddenly slump on my shoulder and I look up to find Alice sleeping on my shoulder and she looks scared. She is mumbling something about superheroes and villans. Appearently she was being kidnapped by someone because she was whimpering and crying out. It hurts me to see her in any pain at all. Physical or emotional.
"Don't worry Princess. I've got you and I won't let you go." I say wrapping my arms around her. I'm in love with my best friend. I think to myself as she nuzzles into my chest, hugging me in her sleeping state.
"I love you." I say into her hair and go back to the movie.
She may have not heard me say those words but they were as true as the fact that stars do burn. I spend another moment trying to remember this one and then I go back to the movie.
I wanted to be her superman. I wanted her to be my princess and to be her knight in shining armor. How could I ever watch her fall in love with anyone else. It's a tough world to be alone. That is, I had her and she had me, only in different ways.
