Niall's POV
I didn't even wait to hear the rest before I run out of the room. After escaping the room I run down countless halls trying to escape something I cannot.
Feelings. My feelings.
Why did everything have to hard so bad? Why did she have to kiss Louis? Why did she have to like it? Questions that may just drive me insane dance through my head as I continue to run. Time has no meaning. Nothing does. Left, right, left, right, right, left. I run down halls that all look the same until I come across a small broom closet to my right. As soon as the door shuts the tears fall and inhuman sounds escape my lips.
After what seems like hours Liam finds me. He shuts the door and sits down next to me.
"How long have you loved her?" he asks quietly.
I look at him, trying to come off as confused but he sees right through me.
"Don't play stupid with me. I knew you loved her from the first day you brought her home. It's all in the eyes mate," he says and at the last part he flips his eyes to his nose.
I laugh at his action and scrunch my nose, trying to think.
"Since my surprise party. The day I turned eight years old."
"Wow. Has it been constant or on and off?" he asks with sudden interest.
"Constant. I mean I have dated other girls but Alice has always been the one. She was always the one with my heart. Still is," I finish and start playing with y fingers, not looking at Liam. For a minute he's silent before patting my leg and saying;
"I've seen the way she looks at you. She loves you even if she doesn't realize it at the moment. Give her time."
Then he gets up, helping me do the same, and we begin the long trek back to Louis' room.
When we walk in everyone's piercing gaze is on me and I want to recoil but I somehow manage to stand my ground.
"I had to go to the bathroom but I wanted to make sure Lou was okay first. I kinda couldn't hold it anymore. Sorry mates," I apologize with a sheepish smile.
Harry Looks a little suspicious.
"What took you so long?' he asks.
"I got hungry," I reply with a shrug.
They all laugh at my foolishness and we head home.
