Chapter 6
Harry's POV
*flashback*
I was sitting on my bed, knees up to my chest as I received a text from Kristian saying we could hang out later. I can here my mum and Gemma fighting again. Always about how, if dad were here, things would be different, easier I guess. This went on for hours! I stayed up in my room talking to Louis on the phone.
'well why don't you just go down there and stand up for what you believe in?' Louis said, rather confused and not understanding the fight this time. I shook my head, as if he can see it, and sigh. 'you don't understand Lou, Gemma's saying that, if dad was here, maybe I wouldn't be so different, like I'm trying to take his place....the fight is about me louis...' he made an awkward 'oh' sound that made me laugh a little. 'so, what now? Want to just come over and play video games? My mum's making tacos tonight.' he asked hopefully. 'uhmmmm I'm actually going over Kristian's....'
'to do what?' he prompted. 'she can come over too ya know...she's not just YOUR friend...' he sounded a bit miffed. 'not like that! Sheesh, maybe she wants to go out and oh, I don't know...maybe GET TO KNOW LONDON!' I hung up. He quickly texted me saying sorry for judging. I just told him whatever and that he of all people, he should me better than that. That's when Gemma cane in and stood at my doorway. 'just go. I don't care where, just get out.' she said at a eerily calm tone. 'Gemma I-' 'JUST GET THE FUCK OUT!' I quickly grabbed my phone charger and my shoes and ran past Gemma, as soon as I was out the flat, the door slammed and locked behind me. Great, FML I left my key on my nightstand....I sighed and texted Kristian that I would be there in 15 minutes, since it looked like noone was going to drop me off. I grabbed my skateboard and started my way to her house...

Now I'm standing in front of this Caramel angel, who's covered in cuts and marks and bruises. I asked her if Danny put his hands on her and she looked down, I saw a tear and wiped it away, cupping her cheek, 'Kristian?' I said a little nicer than before. She finally looked at me. 'did Danny beat you?'
she broke down, going weak in the knees and crying into my chest. 'shhh...it'll be okay...I'm here now love, he can't hurt you as long as I'm here...' i don't know why, but I had the urge to protect her. She seems so independent out in the open, but she cries a waterfall behind closed doors.
we sat there for hours before I realized she cried herself to sleep. I smiled at how cute and adorable, how innocent she looked in my arms. I carefully picked her up, and gently laid her in her bed. I wasn't sure if it would be okay to sleep next to her in bed, so I laid in the floor, texting Niall, who also got kicked out his house and is over at Zayn's. Zayn always looks out for Niall, while Lou looks out for me...I should probably tell Lou that I got kicked out for...god knows how long, but he'll get all worried and have me stay with him. He always seems so happy when he knows that he can protect me, I want to know how that feels too. And well now's my chance. No way in hell am I passing this up.
I texted Niall that I was gonna go to sleep now, we said our goodnight's and I put my phone on the charger. Setting the alarm for 7am, we had another day of school ahead of us, and I have a feeling I'll see this Danny waiting for her like he was today. But this time, I wont just standby and let her go, this time, I'll fight for her safety.
who knows.....
maybe we'll be more than friends in the end...
