My Angel From Above {Harry Styles}
Chapter 4
Harry's POV
we walked into the band room. where i took my rightful place between Nick and Chase, we are the top 3 saxophonists and i'm 2nd chair, Nick 1st and Chase 3rd. Niall came over near us, since he's the only guitarist in the band, and louis sat in the front row near an empty seat. Mr. Trivette has been anticipating a new student for a month now.
Kristian started talking to him, probably about her name since he was scribbling on his roster. 'Alright Miss Kristian, what do you play?' she made a bored look. 'flute, clarinet, piano, saxophone, guitar, percussion, french horn and piccolo.' she said and shrugged. my jaw hit the ground. Really now?! what's next conducting?! Mr. Trivette cleared his throat. 'well uhh, we need more flutes so would you mind sitting next to louis?' she shook her head and sat down next to him, beaming in his direction as the teacher handed her a school loaned flute.
she had to play a solo to our current song, "fallen leaves" and DAMN if she didn't sound magnificent! he gladly gave her first chair and the solo! after band was over, i ran off, i had chorus next, and i had to try out for that tenor solo first!
'Snyder i'm here!' i called as i walked across the stage to his office. 'ah, Harold! you never let me down...c'mon! you got 3 minutes.' i was singing my part to "omnia sol" when i heard the door open and close. 'Hulloooo?' she sing-songed as she walked into the room. Kristian stopped in mid-footstep. 'Harold?' oh my god how i love the way that rolled off her tongue... 'hey Kristian...' 'are you Kaila?' Snyder asked as he got up to see to her. 'well i go by Kristian....' she said looking at me.
'here,sing a little...' Snyder said handing her the lyrics to "omnia sol" and her voice sounded lovely, she had the voice of an angel, no. wait. she had the talents of an angel...it was just breathtaking! 'so, you're a saprano, and i'm giving you that solo along with Harry, so make sure you two practice that little duet of yours.
after chorus was luch, we laughed and played around a little bit. she pulled out her phone and she texted someone while smiling the biggest cutest smile ever. then me and her had american history together. i was happy! i had the rest of this whole semester with her in all my classes.
me and kristian were just walking out the school building when she stopped and squealed. 'he's here?! how'd he get here?!' she ran to the red car at the curb and another emo looking guy got out the car and hugged her. then he leaned in and did the thing i wanted to be able to do to her, causing my heart to shatter into pieces that couldn't be picked up and glued together....or taped.....
He kissed her.....
