Dangerous Hearts
Chapter 14
"Ally you're amazing!" Harry beamed. "All my friends are jealous because my girl can handle balls very well." He added winking.
"Oh shut up Harry. Just kiss me."
And that's exactly what we did. We kissed until there was rain falling onto us. It literally felt like a movie. Us in the middle of a raining soccer field, kissing. I still felt the sparks, I still felt the way his lips moved with mine. It was amazing.
"Ally?"
"Yes Harry?"
"Be mine... Be my girlfriend."
"Only if you're mine." I said with a huge smile. This boy did wonders to me.
We walked to his car in the pouring rain, and I realized I had left my soccer bag at the fields. I quickly ran over because the rain was only getting worse. I could barely see 5 feet in front of me, but for some reason I felt some one watching me.
"Hello beautiful." It was a voice I never wanted to hear again.
"Ethan fuck off. Harry is right over there and he'll beat your pathetic ass." I spat. Honestly I was scared this time because the heavy rain made it impossible to see anything. Just my luck. My heart raced rapidly, and flashbacks of the last two encounters went through my life.
"You know Ally, you're a great soccer player and an amazing person. You deserve a much better guy than Harry." He slowly walked into my sight, and I saw a gun in his hand. Fuck fuck fuck fuck. Fear rose into me, and I felt like I was gonna faint.
"Get in my car Ally, and you nor Harry will get hurt."
I felt tears spill down my cheeks. What was I supposed to do? All I wanted was to be in Harry's arms again. To be with a warm, green eyed, curly haired boy.
"Not so fast Ethan." I heard a raspy voice behind me. Harry.
I spun around and saw him with a gun too. I couldn't let Harry get hurt. Before I could say anything I felt a sharp piercing pain in my back. Everything went into slow motion, and I felt myself falling. The last thing I saw was Harry until everything went black.
Harry's POV:
"ALLY!" She was on the ground with blood covering her jersey. I looked up to see Ethan gone. My heart dropped when I saw her close her eyes. I needed to call an ambulance.
After calling an ambulance everything was a blur. I was crying and yelling the whole time. All I remember was someone driving me to the hospital as I kept crying for Ally.
-4 hours later-
I sat in the hospital room fealing like I was going to go crazy any moment. There was no news on Ally. She could be alive or she could be dead. I felt my body shaking and I knew if I wasn't told anything in the next 2 hours I would storm into her room and find out myself.
"Mr.Styles the doctor would like to talk to you."
My heart fell. Was Ally dead? She was my everything. Life just wasn't even worth it if she was gone.
"Harry I have some good news and some bad news." The doctor said slowly approaching me and greeting me.
"She will live, but she might not be able to play soccer for a long time. She's slowly waking and she keeps mumbling your name. I think she wants to see you. Please be care-"
I literally ran past him into her hospital room. I ran past nurses, doctors, and patients. I was desperate to see her. I quickly saw her limp body. She had tubes everywhere. She looked so vulnerable, so tired. I sat down by her bed until I saw her slowly wake up.
"H-Harry?"
"I'm here love. I'm sorry for everything. I just I ruined everything." I started to say tears streaming down my face. "I'm no good for you Ally. I don't deserve you."
Her eyes popped up with fear. "Harry the only thing that's no good for me is you being gone. If it wasn't for you he would've raped me like 7 times." Eyes started streaming down her face and I slowly went to comfort her. "Harry please don't say that!"
"Ally because of me and this. You can't pursue your soccer dreams. You would've been amazing at North Carolina. You probably would've gone pro." I was ashamed of myself. I should have protected her. I should of taken the shot.
"I know that Harry, but because of you I know what love is. You showed me how to be truly happy. I'd pick you over soccer any day." She quickly sat up, groaning in pain.
"I love you Ally." I whispered. She looked at me with a suprised look. She slowly nodded.
"Harry promise me one thing?"
"Anything for you dear." I quickly replied.
"Don't leave me. Ever. Because I love you too."
"I promise."
And with that I pulled her into a huge hug. Ally was alive and mine. But I knew it wouldn't last forever, no matter how much I could try. Why didn't she realize I was no good? I was slowly going to ruin everything, no matter how hard I tried. She is a glass doll, and my hands break everything I touch. I will grasp her too close, and I won't catch her when she falls. I will regret everything. One day I'm not going to mean it, but I'll break her heart. I'll leave her glass pieces in shambles. I'll come to her dorm at 3 am trying to apologize, but she'll only tell me to go home. Ill try to pick up her broken glass pieces, but it will never be the same. They'll all be shattered.
