Lani POV:

It's been a couple days since the accident. Niall and I got discharged yesterday and I was getting ready for their concert tonight. The doctor said that he shouldn't move around much since he had a concussion... So he has to sit on the stage.
"Are you sure you don't want to come, Mom?" I asked. We haven't really been talking since the accident...
"Yeah.. You and Jenny have fun." she said.
"Well, don't think you're off the hook either." Jenny said as she crossed her arms, "I called management to make sure that you are being watched at all times. You are not allowed to leave the hotel and you are not allowed to go to the bar. Understood?"
She groaned, "Fine." We both gave her a kiss goodbye and told her we loved her. Natalie came to pick us up in her car with Eleanor... I didn't know what was up with Paige, but she came too. We drove over to the stage to meet up with the boys early enough to wish them good luck.
We got to the location and shoved through screaming fans to show security our back stage passes. They swiftly let us through as we walked backstage. The boys from 5 Seconds of Summer were there too because they were opening up for them tonight. I love that band. Lani... No fan-girling.
Niall was putting in his earpiece and tuning his guitar when I came to his dressing room. I sighed.
I've been thinking about it ever since we left the hospital... I don't want him to get hurt again. He looks so beat up and broken. He's like that because of me. Maybe I should go back home early with Mom... I mean, Jenny got here by herself and she still has some decisions to make. But, I can't see him get hurt by my past anymore. I might have to say goodbye to Niall Horan forever...
He looked up and saw me standing there. He gave his signature Niall smile and gave me a hug.
"You're beautiful, you know that?" he whispered into my ear.
"And you are brave, you know that?" I said running a finger along his scar on his face.
He held that hand in his own and said, "I couldn't let him tear you down that easily. I couldn't watch it."
"I know." I said embracing him again. "Good luck tonight, okay?" I smiled.
"Thanks." He lifted up a finger as if he remembered something, "Oh, hold on and close your eyes." He left me awkwardly standing there for a while and then he softly kissed me.
Laughing, I asked, "Was that your big surprise?" with my eyes still closed.
"No, but I am." Holy shit. No way. I opened my eyes and saw Ed Sheeran standing there. I just couldn't even fathom it.
"What?!" I said astonished.
"Surprise!" he yelled, "Ed agreed to come and meet you tonight before he goes on tour with Taylor."
I quickly took out my hand, "Lailani. Lailani Kalua. Nice to meet you." I shook his hand nervously.
"Big fan, eh?" he turned to Niall.
"Yeah, she didn't believe me when I told her on our first date that I knew you."
"Really?" he said intrigued. "Well, we have a lot to talk about, Lailani." I gave an awkward laugh.
"Thanks, babe." I pecked Niall on the lips.
"Wait, that's not all." he motioned me to close my eyes again. While they were closed, I felt a cold chain being clipped around my neck. A necklace? "Okay, open." he signaled me.
I opened my eyes and saw the infinity sign necklace that Natalie and I were looking at. "Wow, it's beautiful. You're just full of surprises, aren't you, Mr. Horan?" I asked giving him my brightest smile.
"All for the girl that surprises me everyday." He smiled while kissing my lips once again. Jesus, I can't get enough of this man. This is all too bitter-sweet. One of the crew guys knocked on the door, telling Niall that it was 5 minutes until 5 Seconds of Summer was done.
"Knock 'em dead, honey." I said admiringly.
"Hello. Still in the room, here." Ed said. Shit. I forgot he was even in here!
"Sorry, Ed!" I apologized quickly.
"It's okay, just don't get it on while I'm in here, okay?" I started to blush.
"We don't do that, Ed." Niall said.
"Okay, bud. Whatever you say." Ed laughed and left the dressing room. I looked up at Niall with mixed emotions. I didn't want to leave him... But I couldn't stay forever.
"What's on your mind?" he asked.
I thought of a lie and said, "Well, this is my first One Direction concert. And I might even know a song or two." I laughed. He just smiled along with me, obviously aware that that wasn't the case.

Harry POV:

I knocked on Lou's door and asked if I could speak to him.
"Hey Harry, what's up? Does Niall need to borrow my socks again?"
I chuckled remembering that Vine, "No, but I need to talk to you."
His face grew serious, "Yeah, sure, what's up?"
"Well... I think I'm falling for Jenny." I said bluntly and he was shocked.
"Oh, well. Did you tell her?"
"Yeah, but the problem is that Zayn likes her too."
He thought for a moment, "Well then, you have to let her decide."
"But how will I be sure that she picks me?" I questioned.
"You don't, Harry. But I know something that might do the trick." He smiled mischievously at me. So mischievously that it could be taken as a Larry moment.

Niall POV:

Something's on her mind... I hope it's not her father. The boys and I got into our positions for the first song, "Up All Night". I looked back at Lani (who was talking to Ed) as she winked at me and smiled. Ed just gave a simple wave. I had to go on stage first because I couldn't dance or move around at all. As soon as I walked out, millions of screaming voices slammed against my ears. Geez, they get louder each show. I sat on the stairs as the music began to play. All 4 boys bounced out from different directions as we begun "Up All Night".

Lani POV:

He has so many fans that admire him... I'm so lucky. Dammit. This keeps getting harder...
"Hey, are you alright?" Ed asked.
"Yeah," I lied, "Just thinking about how lucky I am."
He smiled, "I'm not as dumb as I look, Lani." I gave him a shocked look as my jaw dropped.
"I didn't say you were dumb!" I protested.
"No, but I know that you're thinking about Niall... And the conflict is written all over your face." He looked back over at the lit up stage, "Just tell me what's on your mind." I gave up and went ahead to tell him what my plan was... Leaving Niall and going back to PA so that he wouldn't get hurt.
"Ah, I see." he nodded, "But you know Niall is a big boy, right? He can handle it."
"I know, Ed, but I can't. I can't see that happen to him ever again. My past literally hurt this guy."
"You really do care about him, don't you?" He asked me. I nodded honestly.
"Yes, he's my entire world."
"Then, I can't make this decision for you. But I can tell you that he truly cares about you too. The way he looks at you, hell, I can only write about those kinds of relationships."
"And you write them well, Ed. Thank you. For listening to me."
"And thank you, for listening to me." He meant his music. I smiled and gazed back at the crowd and stage lights.

Niall POV:

This was it. This was the song. I heard her sing it in her sleep... This is the song I've been waiting for all night. I looked over at her and she waved awkwardly... Like a kind of "Yes Niall?" look. I looked out towards the crowd after Liam told the fans to take out their phones and things that produce light.
"Hey guys!" I said afterwards, and the crew looked at me like "What are you doing...", "So you're probably wondering (or not) why I have to sit here. I got hurt over the week, but I am the luckiest man to have had this girl beside me the whole time." I gave her a grin, "Guys, I'd like to welcome my girlfriend, Lani Kalua, to the stage!" Her face was incredibly stunned while Paul brought her out. She covered her mouth with her hand as she looked out at the millions of eyes looking back at her. I gave her a kiss on the cheek that was followed by "Aws" and "Boos". I didn't care, because all I could see was her.

Lani POV:

I walked onto the stage with butterflies in my stomach. Niall just invited me on stage for my favorite song, 'Little Things'.
"And also welcome her beautiful sister, Jenny Kalua!" Harry said into the mic. Cheers erupted from the audience as my sister wore the same look that I did. She sat next to Harry as I sat next to Niall.
"And Liam, our beautiful girlfriends', Eleanor and Natalie!" Lou shouted into the mic. They took a seat beside them. I wonder how the fans are taking this... Almost all the boys have girlfriends..
They brought out Niall's guitar and he started to pick the wonderful tune as he stared into my eyes. I couldn't help but keep my shocked face. One week ago, I never would have guessed that I would be here right now.
"And all these little things..." Zayn finished the first chorus as he gazed at Jenny lovingly. Oh geez, sis. Two boys after you? Really? When it came to Harry's part, he looked Jenny straight in the eyes as she stared back. He put his arm around her and the crowd went crazy.
"I'm in love with you, and all your little things.." His face and hers drew closer and he kissed her,
just for a second, making the crowd go absolutely nuts.
It came to Niall's part and his eyes never left mine. His words were full of meaning and heart. He meant every single word and he put his forehead against mine. I love this man way too much... That's why I have to go. "If I let you know, I'm here, for you. Maybe you'll love yourself like I, love you, oh." It came back to Harry's part and he looked out towards the crowd. He gave that cheeky smile of his and started the first chorus. Then all the guys joined in, looking lovingly at their girlfriends. I was one of the lucky ones.

The concert was over and the guys were welcoming their fans that had meet and greet passes. One of the girls came up to me with one of the saddest smiles.
"Hi, Lani, right?"
"Yep. That's me." I said with a smile, "What can I do for ya?"
She looked down, "Well, I wanted to say... Take care of Niall for us. He's really special and I can tell that he deserves someone like you." She gave me a surprise hug and I returned it. Maybe God's telling me that this isn't the right decision...
"I will, I promise. I love him too much." She asked if she could get a picture with Niall and me, which started a big spree of pictures and autographs with us.
"Bye, Lani!" She shouted out.
"Bye, oh- what's your name?"
"Emily!"
"Bye, Emily!" I waved to her and went back to Niall's dressing room while he still greeted his fans. I let out a sigh and sat down. What was I going to do? A knock resounded from the door and I yelled "come in!" and Paige's head poked through.
"Don't worry, I'm not here to call you anything malicious." She surprisingly said, "I'm here to say I'm sorry. I didn't know that it was this bad with your father... I would never wish that upon anybody... And it's terrible what he did to you and Niall," She paused, "I'm truly, madly, deeply sorry." (Another song pun?)
I looked at her in confusion, "Why do you hate me anyway?" I questioned.
"Because... Because I was jealous. Of you...with... Niall."
