I called Kristina as soon as I got my phone in my hand. She answered after the 2nd ring. “Hello?” she answered. “KISTSINA OH EM GEE YOU’LL NEVER BELIEVE THIS BUT I WON THE MEET AND GREET PASSES FOR ONE DIRECTION!!!” I screamed at her. I heard her scream and we started squealing about how excited we were. Suddenly she stopped squealing. “What’s wrong Krissy?” I asked- Krissy was my nickname for her-. “We need to go shopping A-S-A-P” She said frantically into the phone. My eyes widened with realization. “Meet me at the shopping centre in an hour!” I yelled and then hung up before she could reply.

It was an hour later and I was just getting out of my car. It was a nice day but it was a bit windy; which gave me an excuse to wear a long sleeve shirt so no one saw my wrists. I was dressed in a pair of blue jeggings and a pink lacey top with a white cardigan. I added a pink necklace and pink sandals and wore my sunglasses. ( http://fashionfinder.asos.com/womens-outfits/save-me--outfit-1-346191 that’s the outfit). I walked into the shopping centre and saw nothing but clothing stored. This was going to be fun. I saw Krissy charging right at me. She had the biggest smile on her face!

“HEY LANA!” my best friend screamed at me. People walking by gave us weird looks which made me very self-conscious because everyone was looking at us. “Hey Krissy” I replied quieter. “Let’s go shopping! By the way I love what your wearing” she said while grabbing my hand and pulling me off in the direction of suprè. For those of you that don’t know, suprè is a store that is very popular in Australia and probably sells the best clothes. Well apart from City beach, Ice and Jay Jays!

When we walked in Krissy went straight to the dresses while I went for the leggings and shorts. I found a really cute pair of black high waited shorts which I thought that I’d try on. I’m not very sure if I will buy it though because I don’t like showing off my fat legs. Krissy says that I look amazing in shorts, but obviously she would say that, she’s my best friend. I matched the shorts with a white crop top which was studded along the straps and around the top of my boobs. I told Krissy that I had chosen my outfit and waited for her to choose hers.

Once we had both chosen our outfits we tried them on. I looked pretty good, but I couldn’t stop looking at my legs. They were fat and ugly. I didn’t want to scare the boys away. “Done?” Krissy asked from the other side of the door. “Uh, yeah one second”. I pulled down my shorts a bit and opened the door. I heard Krissy gasp and then squeal. Lots of people looked our way; including some cute boys from outside the store. They were looking me up and down. Dammit! They’re looking at my legs. I got self-conscious once again and looked at the ground. “You look amazing Lana!” my best friend said. I looked up and saw what she was wearing. It was a black dress that came to mid- thigh. It had a slit on either side of her waist. “Damn we look good” Krissy said while spinning me around to look in the mirror. I nodded in agreement. We actually did look good. For once in my life I felt that little bit confident. “Let’s go and pay for these” I said. Krissy nodded and we went to get changed. This is going to be so fun! To make it even better, we were only here for 30 minutes and now we can have lunch while we’re here. I’m going to have the time of my life and no one is going to stop me.
