Chapter 58
Rachel’s p.o.v
I wondered the woods for a good few hours just being alone and taking pictures of the nature or animals and just relaxing enjoying the cool air of autumn. I got sick of walking around so I climbed up one of the trees and sat on a branch and pulled out a book from my backpack to read it’s almost Halloween so I decided I would read Bram Stoker’s Dracula and soon enough it started to get dark out but I still decided to sit in this tree.
I heard some leaves crunching beneath me so I looked down to see a lost looking Niall. I decided to take it to my advantage to scare him so I jumped down behind him and covered his eyes and pulled him back but he pulled me over his shoulder and pinned me to the ground.
“well hello to you too” I laughed.
“oh my god sorry Rach” he said pulling me to my feet.
“it’s fine I was hoping to achieve something more than get pinned to the ground.” I said.
“I have been looking for you all day” he said.
“sorry I wanted to be alone” I said.
“I figured, but I was worried about you” he said.
“you don’t have to worry about me” I said.
“I know I don’t I choose to” he said.
“wait two seconds I need to grab my backpack which I left in the tree” I said I jumped up the tree and put my book in my bag and jumped back down.
“I defiantly love living here” I said.
“so do I there’s no one around it’s so peaceful we can do anything and no one would know” he said.
“so Niall what are you going as for Halloween” I laughed.
“I don’t know I’m thinking a vampire what do you think?” he said.
“I think you should go as a furby” I said.
“let me guess the boys told you that?” he said.
“pretty much but to be fair I think Harry should go as Tarzan” I said.
“you know we should pull a prank on them for Halloween” Niall said.
“how?” I said.
“cut the power, Lock all of the doors and windows, get Liam involved cover him in fake blood and make it look like he has been killed then have something smash and have sound effects” Niall said.
“we should just trick the boys and get the girls to pretend their dead like murdered then do all of that” I said.
“we could have started it with a game of hide and seek in the woods then carry out our plan of everyone getting murdered” Niall said.
“this is going to be brilliant” I said.
“come on we need to get the girls out here to tell them our plan and get it set out.” Niall said.
Halloween soon came around the corner and we were ready for our plan the girls agreed but Louis, Harry, Zayn and Liam had no idea what was going to happen but Niall had to pretend that he had no idea what was going on so he has to pull off some acting I’m going to be the one who is going to help sort the blood and murder scene and pretend to haunt down the girls until it comes down to the 6 of us then one of the girls are going to pretend to kill me off then we are going to surround them and chuck some fake blood over them along with some slime and just scare them a bit.
We all sat around in the sitting room watching a Halloween film that was on.
“guys you know what we should do” El said.
“what?” everyone said.
“play hide and seek in the woods.” El said.
“that will be awesome” Louis said.
“guys I don’t think that’s a good idea I mean that’s how a horror film starts they go in the woods people get murdered then you know it’s just a cliché horror thing waiting to happen” I said.
“come on Rach you’re a vampire for god’s sake you’re a predator how can you be scared of something like that” Louis said.
“because I’m still human I still have emotions and I still get scared over something’s” I said.
“come on Rach let’s do this” Niall said.
I sighed “fine”
We all wondered outside of our house “ok guys you can’t use any of your vampire senses otherwise that would be unfair on ourselves and everyone goes a separate way no grouping ok so Louis you’re up counting whilst the rest of us hide so no cheating” El said.
Louis groaned “fine”
“count to 50” Harry said we all ran off into different directions mainly us girls we went one way whilst the boys went the other after running for a few minutes we stopped and gathered.
“El you pretend to be dead first ok I hid some fake blood here but I have mixed a bit of real blood so Louis will smell it and worry it’s your blood from what I took from you earlier ok” I said I poured the blood down her neck.
“slice my neck a bit Rach to make it more real” El said so I did that.
“now pretend to be dead I’m sure Louis will panic too much to notice about your heart beating but if he figures pretend to be weak now we need to go so stay as still as you can” I said I quickly put blood around her as well and we all ran further but in a different direction.
“guys stop playing El is hurt!” Louis shouted.
“ok the boys are most likely going to run to Louis so come on Ally your next” I said. once again we did the same thing as before but made it look worse than El’s and did something’s different. Then we ran on and Niall came out of nowhere and in front of me.
“are they falling for it?” I asked.
“yeah they are panicking and trying to find you guys so El and ally are done and I’m sure they are going to find her any minute now so run as far as you can then do Perrie and keep carrying on until it’s just you Rach then find us and then girls I’ll text you to come and then set the rest of the plan out ok” Niall said before running off.
We ran a little bit further away and i did some more things to Perrie and added more blood along with a knife left lying next to her and ran on.
“Emma your next” I said.
“actually cut my skin though I know you can heal me later and I’m used to things like that from fighting and hunting” Emma said so I cut her arm and hand along with a bit on her neck and face and put more blood around and left I ditched the bag pack and ran trying to find Niall.
“Niall, Niall where are you!” I shouted trying to act as scared as I could.
“Rach?” Harry said.
“where’s everyone else” I said still acting scared.
“over here come on” Harry said leading me to the boys.
“Niall” I said running into his arms.
“it’s ok Rach have you seen anyone else” Louis asked his yes were red from crying.
“Lou what’s wrong?” I asked.
“El’s dead” he said my eyes went wide and I started to fake cry.
“we need to find the rest of the girls come on” I said.
“we need to stay together though I mean who knows who’s next” Liam said.
“I don’t care I’m finding them” I said and walked off not to far the girls appeared.
“you still have that knife I put next to you?” I asked Perrie.
“yeah here.” Perrie asked.
“I’m going to put this where my heart is and push it in but not too far that it will hit my heart ok I’m going to scream so run and hide.” I said they nodded and ran I pushed it into my chest and stopped pushing it in just before it hit my heart I lay on the ground and screamed as loud as I could I shut my eyes and lay still and they all came running I could hear them all stop and gasp and they all started to cry even Niall because he had to prove it was real he knew but didn’t want to ruin it I felt him pull me on my knee and cry.
“No, no, no, no Rach no you can’t be dead come on you can’t be please no!” Niall cried.
“she’s actually dead” Louis said.
“she can’t come back that’s right in her heart” Liam said.
“guys we need to move we can’t keep staying out here who knows who will be dead next” Niall said standing up.
“what about the bodies?” Zayn said.
“get them in the morning” Niall said and they walked off I pulled the stake out when I was sure they were gone and the girls came out.
“time for the finally” El said.
“come on I’ll text Niall” I said and we started to walk.
“Niall has lead them to where they have the goo waiting” I said and we quickly ran around there I told the girls to stay still and I ran around the boys making sure to make a lot of noise with the leaves I had a voice changer and a speaker and started to speak.
“boy’s, boy’s, boy’s you thought you could escape your pretty little girlfriends are dead and all they did was call your name pleading about how much they loved you it makes me sick now it’s time for you to pay!” I said Niall stepped forward out of the way of where the goo will fall.
“why are you doing this!” Niall spoke.
“because I want to!” I said El pulled the string and the goo fell over the boys apart from Niall who laughed and we all stepped out.
