Emma's POV
I woke up to find Niall right next to me sleeping like a baby, he was so cute all curled up like a kitten. I didn't want to wake him up so I slowly took off the covers and got up tip toeing to the living room.
"Em, is that you?" Niall whispered with his eyes squinting.
"Ya, sorry did I wake you?"
"Yes, but I needed to wake up anyway." He gave me a smile.
I helped him out of bed, we walked to the living room to find Louis watching soccer. Was that the only thing these boys watched? We sat down on the couch silently watching TV.
Niall looked at Louis giving him a queue to leave. He put his arm around me.
"So about last night...about you saying you liked me. Does that mean we're like boyfriend and girlfriend?" Niall smiled.
"Listen Niall, your a great guy but we both know your gonna be on tour and you'll be busy all the time. I just don't want a long distance relationship, your a great guy but I just don't like the pressure of paparazzi and millions of your fans hating me." I could tell Niall felt like crying, almost making me cry.
Niall's POV
I felt like my heart dropped not letting me say anything. I had just been friend zoned by such a beautiful girl who had feelings for me even though she didn't want to date me. We stood there in silence not knowing what to say, I thought life couldn't get any worse when one my best friend's beat me up over a girl. But it did!
Emma gave me a hug making me feel all warm inside, I held her not letting her go. It was like we we're the only people in the world. Her phone started to vibrate, she had gotten a text from her friend , Stephanie.
"Hey do you wanna come meet my friend Steph?" She asked.
"I'd love too, I'll just take a shower and get dressed."
I hoped in the shower and got dresses, Emma got her car keys and we went down stairs. Paparazzi were everywhere, lights where flashing and I squeezed Emma's hand pulling her to safety. I knew this wasn't going to help me win over her love and that sucked. We found her car and drove off.
"Well that was interesting, listen I know your sad that I don't want to date you but I can handle shit like this. It's just not me."
Emma's POV
We pulled up near Steph's house. I got out while Niall was waiting for me on the sidewalk, we walked together up to the front door. Steph opened the door and started flipping out.
"Oh my god! You're Niall Horan!" She smiled, even though she didn't like One Direction she thought it was really cool.
"Haha, ya he's a good friend of mine. I met him at the concert and umm... Ya." I felt bad because I kept making it clear we we're just friends, I knew it killed Niall and I hated that.
"Woah, what the hell happened to your arm?" She yelled.
"I-I fell off my bike and hit a tree, it's kind of embarrassing but it happened." Niall lied.
I laughed but went with it, we walked inside and started to talk. I headed to the bathroom, I had to pee so bad!
Stephanie's POV
As Emma headed to the bathroom her phone went off, Harry Styled texted her. I kinda felt jealous, my brain took over and I snatched the phone and look at the text.
Harry:
I'm so sorry about me hurting Niall, I still love you and I hope you forgive me. I don't know what went over me, I know you love Niall but I won't stop for your love!
I was shocked, Harry beat up Niall. What a jerk, I put down the phone realizing Em lied to me. I realized it was for a good cause though.
Even though Emma had feelings for Niall I thought he looked so hot. I sat next to him, but he scooted away. I tried to talk to him but he clearly only wanted be with Emma, even though she just wanted them to be friends.
