The tight hug that Harry has on me after my first kiss is one that I wish would never end. He apparently agrees, because he doesn’t let go just yet. Until he does, I breathe in the smell of his cologne. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget any of this.

When we do eventually part, we are still holding onto one another. His arms are around my waist; just enough for his hands to meet behind my back. I have my arms draped over his shoulders.

“So…" Harry says with a smile that shows off his adorable dimples. I smile back as I wait for him to continue. “I don’t know if it’s too soon…or if I should just…will you be my girlfriend?"
My heart begins to beat out of my chest as I search for the right words to say. Which is not easy to do when you were just overwhelmed by your first kiss. Now first boyfriend? If this is a dream, I never want to wake up.

“Yes!" I exclaimed. Sure, not as amazing of a response as I was wanting, but it works. Harry smiled warmly then softly kissed my forehead. “You are very cute when you’re excited."
I blushed as I forced myself to look into his eyes instead of down. “You know what we have to do now, right?" he asked. “Make it Facebook official!" he said as he took out his iPod.

“Wait!" I insisted. He stopped and looked up at me. “I want to tell Chloe first." I then hurriedly take out my iPod and text her: “You are not going to believe this but…I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!!" I set it down on my lap, not expecting for her to reply for a while. I was wrong.

• Chloe: wHAT!? I am SO excited for you! Like, seriously. You have no idea. :D
• Me: Awww, thanks! We’re about to make it FB official, but I wanted to tell you first.(:
• Chloe: Wait…he’s with you right now!? TAKE A PICTURE AND SEND IT. Haha.

I laugh as I get ready to take his picture. “Smile!" I said. He does without question, but I explain anyway. He then blushed.

• Me: Here you go! His name is Harry. C:
• Chloe: Oh…my…gosh…
• Me: Hahaha, I know right!?
• Chloe: He is so cute, Megan. I couldn’t be happier for you.(:
• Me: Thanks. And…thanks for always being there for me. I love you!
• Chloe: Awww!!! No problem! And you know I love you too.♥ Now, quit talking to me an go be with your amazingly attractive boyfriend! :)

I smile as I look up at Harry who is also smiling. “So, does she approve?"

“Most definitely." I replied. He then goes back to his iPod. I open up my Facebook app and only wait a moment before I get a friend request. After accepting, I only wait another moment longer before accepting the relationship request.

“Megan…I know what we should do for our first date. I mean, if you want to." I smile as I reply, “I’m sure I will. But go ahead, what are we going to do?"

“Well, I was thinking about going to the fair tomorrow after school. Ya know, since it is Friday. What do you think?"

“I think that is the most wonderful idea." I reply. We then lay our backs down on the trampoline and gaze at the darkening sky. We held hands. We laughed. We talked some. And we did that until it was absolutely and completely necessary for him to leave.
