~ Dani’s POV ~

A chill shot up my spine. His lips pressed against my forehead were literally the best feeling. I’ve never felt anything like it. My breathing became uneven I wanted to kiss him on the lips. Passionately. I heard a voice I looked up to see it was Liam’s. He’s even cuter in person.

“Harry, we’ve got to do this Twitcam.”

Harry put a hand on my leg as he got up and said “Well, duty calls.” I smiled at him. As he exited I grabbed my phone to get on Twitter. I had a bunch of notifications and they were still coming. I closed out of the notifications and clicked on Twitter. My mentions were being blown up.

They know. I clicked on my twitter page to see I’d gained 3,000 followers since I last checked. I began to stride down the hall with phone in hand before Liam met me half way. “They know.” He said. “I know I just got on Twitter…” he cut me off “And you’re being attacked. Niall and I were watching it unfold as we set up the Twitcam.” I shook my head in disbelief. “It’s okay,Danielle.” Did Harry ask all of them to call me Danielle?

“Management wants the truth.” Louis shouted. “Also, they want Dani to appear briefly to explain what happened.” Guess not.

I took a few more steps to emerge from the hall. “You’ve got to be shitting me.” I said with an attitude.

“Don’t be angry with us.” Niall said like a child.

“I’m not, but seriously? Broadcast my whole life in front of thousands?”

“You don't have to.” Harry said as he spun around in the computer chair his hair flopping in the slight breeze. Louis shot Harry a look.

“Three minutes til we have to go live.” Zayn tried to hint at the urgency.
The room grew quiet.

“I’ll do it.” Before I knew what was happening I was sitting in a chair behind the boys. I felt like I was in a daze. It began.

“Hi guys! We will be taking a few questions, but we just wanted to clear the air on some things.” Louis said in a very cheery tone. “This is Dani as some of you may know. She was seen with Harry.” They all parted to show me. I awkwardly waved.
“She will be staying with us for awhile. She literally ran into Harry, what a klutz right?” I looked at Louis with bewilderment. He just rolled his eyes. Harry’s eyes were glued to the computer screen.

“Stop.” Harry blurted out.

The boys and I looked at him.

“Don’t send Danielle hate. She doesn’t need it. I know you guys don’t like seeing me with girls, but Danielle needed help and still does. I can’t leave her be. From the questions I’m reading I know some of you guys know what really happened, but it’s not really any of your business or mine to broadcast.”

I think I heard the question ticker stop for the last 5 seconds of his speech. He shut them up. The boys were shocked at what Harry just said, but none of them seemed angry.

“Let’s take some questions!” said Liam with a large smile on his face.
