* Flashback *
The door to the apartment flung shut just as quickly as it opened I quickly shut my laptop and ran to my bathroom. Sawyer hated when I wore pajamas all day. I quickly put on some tattered skinny jeans and a black v-neck with some red lipstick. I heard him trudge through the apartment knocking things over with each step.

“Hey babe! I’m home. In need of some love. Work was shit.” Sawyer shouted through the apartment. I hesitantly opened the bathroom door as he barged in pushing my hips against the bathroom sink.

“I’m sorry work was so terrible.” I said trying to wiggle loose of his grip. I couldn’t smell alcohol on his breath as he leaned in and kissed my cheek. He’s sober? Once it clicked he hadn’t drank I thought tonight would be different, but before that thought was processed he was kissing on my neck and unbuttoning my jeans. He felt me tighten up.
“What you don’t want it? You always want it. Don’t lie.”
I tried to keep my mind off of what was about to happen. Tonight was the night I planned to leave him I had to do it. I had to tell him. But before I could find the right words to say I blurted it out, “I can’t stay with you anymore. This is toxic. It’s affecting my schooling. We have to break up.” As I finished my stern words he grabbed my wrists and shoved me into the door. “You’re a stupid bitch, you can’t leave me. No one will ever love you like I love you.” I began to cry as he held both my wrists with one hand and unbuttoned my pants with the other. Sawyer was so strong it was ridiculous. I felt my wrists begin to lose circulation and I felt the bones weaken with his grip tightening. “Stop! Let me go!” I pleaded. “I will never let you go.” His eyes darkened with each word. I attempted to slide down the door to get away, but as I tried to get away he pushed me forward causing me to thrash my head on the toilet immediately causing me to bleed out. He pushed me onto the bathroom floor and wiped away the blood dripping down my cheek. How romantic. He tried to unbutton his pants as he pinned me down with one hand on my neck. I cried out “You’re choking me, Saw. Let me go. I love you. I’m sorry.” Hoping those words would ease his mind. “Fuck you. You don’t love me. I love you. I will show you how much I love you.” My mind flashed to Avery’s face. “Keep large objects hidden so you can get out if he acts out.” I tried to fight him off with my free arms, but my weak fists were nothing for his 180-pound body on top of mine. I looked around the bathroom floor to see the empty ceramic toilet scrubber holder and I grabbed it and smashed it into his skull knocking him out at least for a while. I tried to quiet my tears and get out from under his what seemed lifeless body. I ran out of the bathroom and to my small packed bag and grabbed it. Looked inside to see my phone and wallet weren’t there. I couldn’t leave that. I ran back into the living room to find them on the coffee table. Throwing them into my bag I heard him waking up. Of course he’s fucking superhuman. I saw the window and ran to it threw it open and ran down the stairs.
