Chapter 4 - Old friend
Marie lifted her eyebrows softly and stared at the text. She smiled and locked the screen, putting the phone in her pocket. No one had ever said anything like that to her before. They waited for Kelly to come out, Marie looked Veronica's outfit over, "Cute." She smiled at her friend. Keely struck a silly pose and Marie and Veronica both laughed. Marie stood up, "Well, we should get going, we've only got a few minutes to get there." The girls nodded.
They got to Nandos and walked in, immediately seeing the crowd of girls. Marie saw Zayn stand up and smile. He motioned for her to come over. Keely looked at Marie with wide eyes, "We're gonna meet One Direction!!!!!" Veronica and Marie laughed. Marie nodded, "I told you to listen to me." Marie slipped through the crowd with Keely and Veronica, a fan grabbed Marie arm, she pulled her closer and glared at her, "Back off." the fan said through gritted teeth. Marie yanked her hand away and stepped closer to the boys. Zayn was grinning at her, Marie smiled at him and gave him a big long hug. Harry looked at Veronica, "Wow. Marie, who's this?" he winked at Veronica, who blushed and walked up to him, "I'm Veronica." he smiled at her, "It's nice to meet you." he started flirting with her. Keely was sitting in a chair when Niall leaned across the table, "Why aren't you talkin' ta anyone?" Keely smiled, "Because my friends are talking to people, and I don't know anyone besides them." Niall held out his hand, "Well, I'm Niall." Keely shook his hand, "Yeah, I know." he smirked, "But I don't know you?" She giggled softly, "I'm Keely."
Marie and Zayn were eating when Marie had to go to the bathroom. "I have to go.. use the ladies room." she smiled and got up. She turned the corner and ran into someone. "Oh! I'm so-... " she looked at the girl. She looked really familiar... The girl pushed her hair back and froze, "Marie??" Marie blinked and tried to remember who she was... She gasped, "Jacky???" they hugged. Jacky pulled back, "I haven't seen you in forever!!!" Marie grinned, "I know!" they had been friends since Marie and her were both 12. Jacky helped her through her parents divorce.
