Bruised and Scarred.
A Thousand Years Later (aka 2 weeks)
It feels like it’s been forever since I’ve last seen Niall. I mean it kind of has, but it’s normal to miss someone after a couple weeks. So it’s about two and a half weeks into their U.S. tour and I’m about ready to hop on a flight and go visit him. This was actually my plan now that mom is feeling better since her mom flu and I can steal Lola to go on a flight to Louisville. In which I’m hoping mom will let me since I’m not legally old enough to steal my step sister and hop on a plane to Louisville, and possibly hit Disney World sometime on the way back. So it was one of those days when your mom is out with your siblings and you decide to make the house spotless so that there’s a bigger chance she’ll say yes. Niall and I have done this so many times since a young age that I have it down to a fine art. I was in the middle of washing the dishes when she walked in. “Jessa, I love what you’ve done with the place, its spotless”
“All in a day’s hard work” I said while setting down the plate and whipping my brow. “I swear if you do this enough Lola and Lindsey will learn your ways” she whispered to me. I laughed briefly and said, “I have something to ask”
“Shoot”
“I was wondering if I could visit Niall.”
“Yeah, I don’t see why not”
“With the twins”
“…Let me think. Give me till 8pm and I’ll have an answer by then”
I lay off the subject and discussed the matter with said twins. Lola was very excited for this while Lindsey didn’t love One Direction; she wanted to see her dad. By 8 pm that night mom stopped by my room with a piece of paper in hand. “I gave it lots of thought and because you can protect five guys from a stampede of teenage girl I expect you to keep them under strict watch” I nodded and she continued, “Here’s your hotel information, I am your mother and I don’t want you in the same hotel as them because of Lola and Lindsey. You may visit, get in contact or whatever, but keep a curfew. You have four days to visit leaving the first and fourth day to get there and leave. When you leave you’ll be going to visit their father and I’ve already called him to say that you’re coming. The rest of your information is on these sheets and I expect you know how to contact me and them. Just keep them safe and know that I trust you”
“Thanks mom”
“You’re welcome. And Jeff is such a lovely person I’m sure you’ll love him”
“If he makes you happy then I’m sure I’ll be happy”
That night Lola, Lindsey and I spent most of our time packing and sometimes checking in with Liam to find out where they’ll be and when. From what I’ve found out they are due to be in Louisville the day we get there and are to be in their hotel by nine. We’re going in at 10:30 just to make sure and we’ll get information from the fans waiting outside. I mean if I tried hard enough I could look like a fan and with Lola and Lindsey it’s hard to mistake us as a group of friends. From all of my training this should be a piece of cake.

I do not miss waking up early at all. I’m taking the hint from the girls that neither do they. And if you tell them, “last one up gets a cold shower” loud enough in their shared room they’ll claw at each other’s faces to get in there first. Too bad for Lola, I did promise her mine after I was done with the promise that I’d be quick.
Full of excitement after three hot showers it was going to be hard getting them to sleep on the flight there. Actually, for a one hour flight there’d be no need for any naps, maybe we’ll just watch Harry Potter. Finally at about noon mom and Brayden we’re waving goodbye and we were off on our own little adventure. Once again with Lola handling the GPS and we were on our way to the airport in Buffalo. Considering this whole trip there should be about 5 hour’s total we were making decent time. Save for the caffeine I’ll be taking in later.
Our flight arrived on time and left a little later than scheduled, but only a little. Not that it mattered when sitting in between two teenagers; one listening to Pierce the Veil and the other listening to Drake. And so this is when twins become total opposites. We arrived in Lexington, Kentucky a little late due to our late start and somehow we are already halfway to Louisville. Maybe my excitement was starting to kick in now. Or maybe it was the caffeine. I made sure to tell Lola not to let me have caffeine more than twice a day. She looked at me funny then went back to texting Liam as I told her what to write.
“He said ‘Whatcha coming out for? If you’re coming out at all’ “
“Tell him no particular reason, just a road trip perhaps”
“His response was , ‘Then why you want to know our room numbers if it’s just a road trip?’ “
I sighed and thought a bit, “It’s a surprise”
“Lola, what does the GPS say?”
“Turn left…sorry turn right I meant right”
“…Are you sure? This looks a bit like a dodgy side of town. I think we’re going to turn around soon”
She just shrugged and looked to my iphone map. “Whoops, maybe you were supposed to take a left”
I went around the block going out to the main road and went straight. I felt much safer being away from that off looking neighborhood.
~
Half an hour later and we’ve made it to our hotel. After checking in and sitting around for a while we went out to dinner and came back. By the time we got back it was an hour before they were due to their hotel so we geared up and got in the car again. I ended up parking at least a block away at a twenty four hour store and walked to the hotel finding a group of girls in back to stand near. I had a bag with me full of extra blankets and sweaters. Apparently these girls don’t care about cold summer nights they just want to meet the guys. Such dedication amazes me. Lola and Lindsey sat against the building curled up under a thin blanket keeping warm while I texted Liam and kept an eye out.
Later rather than sooner a bus had pulled up. Everyone started getting excited, but it was only the band and some crew. Then Five Seconds of summer, and then the boys’ bus rolled in. I walked over to Paul with my hood up and quickly explained my plan. He agreed and said I should have told him earlier. He also gave me three laminates that get me in through the back. I pretty much knew the routine from there and had no problem waiting another hour and a half before going in through the back. I spotted Nialls suitcase on a luggage cart and instructed the girls to hop on. The guy moving the cart shook his head when I showed him my laminate, but broke into a smile as he started moving us toward the back elevator. Once on the fifth floor and in front of room 516 he knocked on the door and walked away. Niall’s Irish voice boomed, “Coming”. The girls rushed off the cart and stood with their backs against the wall like I told them in the elevator. When he opened the door I wish I had my phone out recording this or something, because his face was priceless. “Looking for something?” I asked while holding up his suitcase. He broke out into a grin and swallowed me into a ginormous hug, resulting in me dropping my luggage and the girls chorusing in ‘Awww’s. When we broke apart I saw a shirtless body with a huge butterfly tattoo and asked, “Larry isn’t rooming together?”
“Naw Eleanor is back for the night” he made a face at that, but then turned to the twins standing by my side now. “Oh Niall this is Lola and Lindsey my step sisters”
In the room, from what I could see, Harry stumbled a bit and made a crashing sound before shouting “I’m alright”
“Does he know they’re too young for him?”
“Let him figure that out”
Soon a fully clothed Harry was now standing in the threshold with a quirky smile and standing in a position that showed off his biceps. He looked at me and around me confused. My second guess was that he would ask where they were and I said, “Look down” Standing at about four inches shorter than myself were said twins. Harry’s show off attitude was gone.
We hung out for a little while and watched a movie before mom was texting my five minutes before our curfew. I was sat in bed with Niall while Harry and the girls were sat comfortably on the floor watching the Green Lantern. Lindsey seemed more interested than Lola. And Lola seemed more interested in Harry who was fully interested in the movie. “Niall” I whispered nudging his foot with mine. He sleepily looked over at me and hummed a bit. “We’ve got to get going back to our hotel”
“You’re not leaving so soon are you?” he asked tiredly.
“We have a two full days here before we’re going to Disney World to meet my other dad”
He perked up at hearing about my other dad and insisted I stayed to talk about it, but I said that mom strictly said we had a curfew and couldn’t sleep in the same hotel, because of the twins. He understood and offered one of the security guards to walk us back to the car and follow us to the hotel to make sure we make it back alright. I agreed and he asked for someone who I worked with quite a bit. He even said he’d drive with us until I mentioned his ‘girlfriend’. Let’s just say he can be convincing when he wants to.
With my hood up and the girls in extra large hoodies we walked around the block away from the fans and to our rental car. From there he wished us a good night and followed in the car with the security guard to our hotel.

As good of an idea as that is I don't see how I could do it unless it was Nialls pov.
And I'm afraid of making Niall sound too girly as it is when I write from his pov.
Maybe if I did write a sequel I could do a few chapters from the other guys' povs.
Thanks though!
