The New Girl
Chapter Six
-JOEYS POV-
Its finally time for lunch! Yay! I get to meet Zayn, Liam, and Louis girlfriends today! Eeek! I spot their table and sit in between Zayn and Harry.
“hey guys!” I said as I sat down
They all greeted me and zayn starts to talk to me.
“Hey Joey, this is my girlfriend Perrie!” he showed me to a gorgeous girl sitting next to him. I waved and smiled “Hi Perrie! I’m Joey!”
“Hey! Zayn told me all about you, but he failed to tell me about super adorable fashion sense! We NEED to go to the mall together sometime! How about-“ Louis cut perrie off by saying “Perrie we don’t wanna hear about the mall! There are still other girlfriends to introduce remember!?”
“Oh yah sorry guys” Perrie and I said at the same time.
“Okay moving on! Joey this is my girlfriend Eleanor!” Eleanor waved and smiled sweetly. “Nice to meet you Joey! Like perrie said, im ALREADY in love with your fashion sense! I have a feeling us girlfriends are gonna become besties!!!”
“Okay Joey this is MY girlfriend Danielle!” Liam said to me. I smiled and waved at her. “El and Perrie pretty much already stole my speech so all im gonna say is nice to meet you love!”

After Lunch us GIRLS shared phone numbers and I promised I would text them later. I’m at home now getting ready for my date. I decided to wear this { http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=88382973 }. I heard my phone buzz and I smiled when I relized who it was from

Yay!
I grabbed my purse and waited downstairs for Harry. I Didn’t think anyone was home yet so when I heard arguing coming from my parents bedroom I was caught a little off guard. I went over to their bedroom door and listened in to their argument. My mom was crying and my dad was trying to calm her down.
“GET OUT MATTHEW!” my mom screamed
“Baby please let me explain!” my dad tried to talk to her
“HOW THE HELL COULD YOU DO THIS TO OUR FAMILY?! WHY HER!?” my mom yelled
I have never heard them argue like this before…..
“Honey Plea-“ my mom cut off my dad
“I WANT A DIVORCE! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!” my mom screamed
I stood there frozen as those words sank deeply into my mind. The door opened and I faced my dad with tears in his eyes. “Joey-“ my dad started to talk but I just ran downstairs, grabbed my purse and headed out of the door with tears rolling down my face. Harry was driving down the road when I passed by his car running. He saw me and turned his car around. I didn’t want anyone to be with right now! I wanted to be alone so when I reached the city limits and reached the river I stopped running. I fell to my knees and sobbed. “Joey?” Harry called out. I didn’t answer but my sobbing was fairly loud so im guessing he heard me. He came over, put his arm around my shoulder and sat down next to me. I leaned on him and he let me cry. He let me get it all out before we started to talk. As I was crying, I realized that I DID want him here. I needed him to be here. So when I stopped crying he finally asked me what was wrong.
“My dad had an affair and my mom found out and they were arguing and I over heard everything and they like never ever fight so I realized what had happened so I ran away and came here then you came and you let me cry and you helped me so thanks and im sorry about our date.” I said this paragraph in one breath and when I finally finished talking, he hugged me. That was all I needed and that was all he gave. That is why he is so perfect.
“Don’t be sorry about our date Joey. Its not your fault, and we can still have our date if your up to it? It will make u feel better I promise. Stay here I will be right back.” Harry tells me.
He comes back with a blanket and a picnic basket. I smile.
“There’s that pretty smile I have been waiting for!” he says as he lays out the blanket.
“You know I was gonna take you to nandos then for a picnic but I don’t think im in the mood for nandos anyway.” He said as he smiled.
“so why a picnic?” I asked him
“Just wait” he said as he pointed up to the sky. As soon as I looked up, things started to flash around the sky.
“A meteor shower?” I watch excitedly
“Yup. I just thought it would be cool ya know?” he asked
( after the shower)
“Its really helping. Thank you harry.” I say as I smile at him
“For what love?” he asked
“For being there for me and taking me on this really amazing date. It probably would’ve been better if my stupid parents didn’t ruin it.” I sigh
“Your parents didn’t ruin anything. I still had fun! I hope you did too.” He smiled at me
