Chapter Twenty Eight
-JOEYS POV-
After Harry and I’s little steamy session, we walked outside to see Liam and Danielle arguing. What about? I have no idea but every time they would talk, they would get louder and louder.
“Shut up Liam! You know it is not like that!” Dani yells almost on the brink of tears.
“Then what the bloody hell is it like?!” He screams in her face. Danielle, now crying, raises her hand and slaps Liam across the face. I could tell it hurt because the sound from the hand to his cheek could be heard from miles away.
Dani then runs into the house with tears now streaming down her cheeks. We were all dead silent. Liam was now crying too and there was a bright red hand print on his cheek. It looked kind of like someone high-fived his face.
“DAMNIT!” Liam yells and runs out of the back gate probably heading for his car.
“I- You- Let’s- yeah! Just- Just go!”Harry and I tried to have a conversation while I pointed in the direction of Danielle and he pointed in the direction of Liam. Both of us reading each other’s mind on us trying to calm our friends down. We take off in different paths, I to the house and Harry, to the driveway.
When I get in there, I look around frantically for Danielle, hoping that she hasn’t run off.
Taking the steps two at a time, I reach the top and hear crying coming from the bathroom. I knock on it softly.
“Go away.” She sobs quietly.
“Dani, boo, its me. Please let me in.” I say calmly. I wait a second before hearing the lock click and door swings open. Danielle suddenly runs into my arms and cries on my shoulder. I rub her back and we both slide to the ground.
After she was finished shedding all of tears, I asked her about what the heyall just happened but in a nicer way. Duh.
“Babe, what happened?” See? Told ya so! I’m being nice even though I’m confused as fuck.
“L-Liam is very mad at me.”
“Well clearly but I kinda need to know why so I can fix it love.” I tell her sweetly.
“You won’t be able to fix it. I messed up so fucking bad Joey.” She says looking at her fingers.
“It couldn’t be that bad. Just tell me.” I say chuckling.
“Joey…. I’m pregnant.” She says. I was opening my mouth to congratulate her when her hand slapped over my mouth. Um….ow?
“Don’t even think about congratulating me.” She says sternly before letting my mouth free of her grasp.
“Why? Sure it is a little early but come on! It’s a new human being for Christ-“ She cuts me off again.
“Joey! Jesus! Let me talk! There is something you should know….” I ignore the rude remark; I mean she is pregnant, so I nudge her to go on.
“It’s not Liam’s.”
Oh. Shit.
-HARRYS POV-
After Joey and I’s mental conversation, I take off towards Liam, out the back gate. He was opening his car door when I slammed it shut.
“Liam. WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?!” I whisper/scream. (He isn’t as sweet about it….clearly.)
He didn’t reply because he was mumbling something to himself before trying to open his car door again but I slam it closed once more.
“HARRY! LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!” he yells at me but before I could snap a comment back he covers his face with his hands and sinks to the ground with his back on the car. Still surprised, I sit down next to him and let him cry out whatever feelings he had left. I thought I heard him mumble something like ‘I thought I loved her’ between his sobs but I brushed it off. I was probably just hearing things. When he was all cried out and calmed down, I asked him again, but nicer this time.
“Li, what happened back there?” I ask and he just shakes his head.
“I think I have to break up with Danielle, mate.” He says looking down.
“What do you mean? I thought you guys loved each other!”
“She fucked this relationship up so bad.” He says now looking out in the distance.
“What could she have done that was so bad? I mean this is sweet little Danielle we are talking about!” I chuckle trying to lighten up the mood. Yeah it didn’t work.
“She is pregnant.” He says quietly. I was shocked.
“Are you kidding me? When did you guys have-“ He cuts me off.
“We didn’t.” He says matter-of-factly. Now im confuzzled. (Confuzzled=Confused+Puzzled)
“It’s not my child.”
Oh. Shit.
“Don’t tell anyone okay? I still have to talk to her about it.” He says and I nod.
-NIALLS POV-
Holy fuck! Danielle is pregnant with someone else’s child?! I didn’t mean to hear it! I promise! I was just going to check on them and over heard.
This is bad. This is bad. This is so fucking bad! I am AWFUL at keeping secrets! I can even admit it! I don’t mean to spill my guts but it usually slips out! Like I seriously don’t even know I said it until after I say things! I just REALLY like talking when im not eating. I wonder when they were planning on telling us. I also am wondering who sweet little Dani had sex with! Wow. All of these questions are making me hungry. I think im just going to escape before they see me and go eat some food. Yup. Come on belly lets go eat!
