Chapter 13: Day 5
-Day 5: 11: 23 PM-
I felt my eyes start to open and I reached up, rubbing my face with my hand. I felt a figure lying next to me, or well, on me. I blinked some as I raised my head, seeing Dakota sleeping on me. My arm was around her where she rested her head on my shoulder and chest. As I took a breath, I could feel the weight of her arm resting on my stomach.
I looked over to where I saw Bonnie’s back to me. I could see Niall’s head resting on top of her own. He was sleeping. I let my head fall back on the beach towel, looking up at the sky. It was dark. I don’t even remember the sun setting. Did I fall asleep? Well, obviously, but I don’t remember dreaming either. It was like a blackout.
I looked around the deserted beach. I was surprised we hadn’t got caught by the police up till now. I started to shake the sleeping girl beside me. She groaned and mumbled as she pretty much crushed herself up against me. “Okay, Kotes, seriously.” I said, my hand went to her side and grabbed it.
She jumped and grabbed my hand to stop tickling as she rolled over to her other side, head still resting on my arm. A soft sigh escaped my lips as I felt a smile tug on them. I reached over past her to poke Niall on the face. I kept poking his cheek as he reached up to slap my hand away. I grabbed the bridge of his nose, pulling a little roughly. “Ah-ah, ow!” He swatted at my hand. I was chuckling some as his eyes opened and a free hand rubbed them.
He craned his head to see himself laying with Bonnie. He started to shake her awake. She slowly came back to life. She rolled on her back and slowly tried to raise up. They were coming forth and Bonnie looked back at Dakota. She started shaking her arm, trying to wake her. “Stop!” Dakota grumbled, trying to sleep.
“Wake your ass up. We need to get home.” Bonnie mumbled at her.
“I’m fine we’re I'm at.” She groaned, not wanting to get up.
I pressed myself right behind her. I wrapped my free arm around her, blowing my hot breath in her ear. “It’s really late.” Niall said some. “How far of a walk is it back to your apartment.”
“About half an hour… and I don’t know where it is. She does.” Bonnie said, pointing at Dakota.
“Should we call you a cab?” I asked. “Doesn’t look like she’s getting up any time soon.”
Bonnie nodded. Niall got out his phone, calling for a cab. “It’s on its way.” Niall said as he and Bonnie heaved to stand up. I got my arm free from under her head and bent down to pick Dakota up bridal style. Bonnie grabbed everything, throwing it into the tote and we started up the beach, meeting up with a cab. We all managed to climb in, Niall giving the driver directions back to the girls’ flat from the passenger seat.
“Warning now.” Bonnie said as she leaned forward to speak to Niall and I. “Nobody knows what happens tonight.”
“Yeah, seriously.” I agreed. “Niall, keep your mouth shut around the others too. Last thing I want is a lecture from Liam.”
Niall nodded and it didn’t take long before we stopped in front of a line of flats. We all got out, Niall paying the tab and I picked Dakota up once again. Bonnie led us up to the second floor where they were staying. Bonnie brought out the key that was in the tote and unlocked the door. We all crept in, making sure not to hit anything to wake anybody up as we snuck to the bedroom. “Sabrina and Kariann are probably asleep. So, sh!” Bonnie warned as we all piled into the hallway and into the bedroom.
Bonnie turned on the light as Niall shut the door behind him. I walked over to the bed and gently lay Dakota down. “Shit… I forgot to tell the cab driver to wait for us.” Niall muttered, getting out his phone.
I started to rise from putting Dakota down and I felt a hand grasp my forearm, roughly pulling me down on the bed. The blond boy and magenta headed girl just blinked at the scene before them. Dakota clutched to me, laying her head on my chest again. “What do you know,” I said, looking at the sleeping girl. “Looks like she can’t get enough of me.”
My comment brought a stupid grin on Niall’s face and Bonnie chuckling some. “Looks like we’ll be staying here tonight.” Niall said, shrugging some.
“You get the floor.” Bonnie pointed out toward the living room. “I call the couch.”
Niall pouted. “We can’t share?”
Bonnie snorted as she opened the bedroom door. She left the room and Niall gave me a wink. “Night, Boo.”
He shut off the light, leaving me and a sleeping Dakota in total darkness.
“Seriously?” I asked out loud. “Leaving me alone in here with a girl? How smart is that?”
I felt myself shrug and slide down on the bed to get comfortable. I reached up, feeling something on my head. Oh yeah, the hat. I smirked, taking it off and tossing it toward the floor. I made a mental note to take it back to the hotel with me.
Who would’ve thought I’d be sleeping in the same bed with a girl I’ve only met not, what, six hours ago? This getting high shit was really started to get to my head. I closed my eyes. Ah, better go to sleep now. You never know what line of events you’d be going through the moment you’d wake up.
*Louis’ POV*

Next chapter is in Abbi's POV haha :PI'm not sure I'll have the next chapter out as soon as I might like. I still gotta write it and also I'm writing up the sequel for A Life for A Life. Pretty excited for that :)
