A Trip To Starbucks
Alyssa's POV: "Mom, can I go to Starbucks?" I ask my amazing mother.
You see, yesterday we came from California to London. My mother has been working ever since my 'father' left and this is the first time we moved so it was tough. We arrived at the new flat yesterday and we've been unpacking eversince, well my mother has been unpacking. I have just been sleeping since I can't even bother.
"Did you finish unpacking your room?" My mother asks me.
"Nope, you know how I am with that" I reply.
"Ok, you can go but don't go for long. Take the house keys, I'm leaving in an hour and I won't be back until late at night" My mom tells me.
Well, this is my ussual summer. My mom leaves early in the morning while I just hang around. Back in California I used to go for singing lessons 5 times a week but I stopped that a while back. I don't really have any friends to hang out with either. I was bullied back in 6th Grade so eversince I've done online schooling. It's summer now and I literally do nothing.
I go back to my room and grab my purse, as well as take a final look in the mirror.

I know, plain. But I don't have anyone to impress so why try? Well, I look descent enough.
I grab my Iphone 5 from it's charger and dump it into my back.
"I'm off, bye Mom! Love you" I slam the door shut and head towards the nearest Starbucks.
Wow, London is so different from California. Especially the girls here. In California, every single day, you'd find a girl wearing a Justin Bieber or One Direction shirt. Don't get me wrong, I like Justin Bieber and One Direction and think they are all pretty cute. But I wouldn't waste my time searching which exact hotel they will be in or a shirtless photo of them. The most I would do is watch a couple videos online. Speaking of videos, I wonder how many views have I got on my cover of Little Things on Youtube. Probably 10 views, considering I posted it only yesterday morning. Oh hey, there is Starbucks.
I walk inside Starbucks, YAY, no cue!
"Hello mam, what would you like this fine morning?" A sweet british man, around his 40's asks me.
"Can I please have a White Mocha Frapuccino with Whip Cream and, um, a Carrot Cake please"
