Supernatural Boarding school
Waking up!
Pain ran through my head, it felt like exactly what the headmasters had done to me after I had that food fight with Roxy. I gripped my head and pulled my hair wanting to stop the pain. The pain started to subside and I dared to open my eyes. I could hear people around me calling the nurses. I had a nurse pick my head up and try to inject something in my arm, but I quickly swung it out of her hand. I didn’t want anything going through my body. My mother then came to me and gripped my body engulfing me in a hug. Although I loved her I didn’t want a hug from her right now.
“Mom, please don’t touch me.” I muttered. She quickly released and apologized.
“Sorry sweetheart.” My mom said.
“How long have I been out?” I asked.
“About 2 weeks.” Harry whispered. Everyone stopped to look at my reaction. I just nodded and laid back on my pillow.
“When can I leave?” I asked.
“Probably in one week.” Roxy said.
“No, I want to leave today. I feel fine.” I said hoping to prove to them that I was ok.
“Not funny Kelsey.” Niall said. I then looked at my body. Cuts and bruises were placed everywhere. On my foot it looked like the bruises were placed perfectly together to make a tattoo on my foot all the way up to my ankle.
“Can you guys give me a second.” I asked. Everyone nodded and started to leave the room. Louis was the last one in the room and was just about to leave when I caught his wrist. This seemed familiar. “Can you stay?” I asked. Louis nodded and locked the door so no one could walk in.
“What is it?” Louis asked.
“Louis I need to go get the necklace. It is in my room under my bed and tucked in the sheets.” I said.
“And why must you have the necklace?” Louis asked.
“I need it to heal up my cuts and scratches.” I answered.
“Kelsey, they just hid the cuts forever so nobody can ever see them again weather you have the necklace on or off. It will not heal you.” Louis said.
“I know that Louis, but I need to get out of the infirmary to figure out this mystery.” I said. Anger was starting to rise up in my voice.
“Your gang and I can handle this for a while; you need to get some rest Kelsey.” Louis said. Anger showing up in his voice also.
“That is where you are wrong Louis. You guys are not going to help me anymore. You and Roxy almost died on the Christmas dance. I will not let that happen again, Louis I need to be on my own with this mystery. Can you just do this one favor?” I said. My voice started to crack, and I could feel tears prick the back of my eyes.
“Kelsey I knew getting into this mess would put me in danger! I was prepared to go through pain when I put myself into this. I still want to help.” Louis pleaded.
“I am sorry Louis, but I have to do this alone.” I said. I got up and ran out the door, everyone else was out there. Confusion swept through their faces. I kept running though, I soon ran to the infirmary doors and darted out.
I was halfway down the hall when I heard voices calling my name. I ignored them and kept running. I was just about to enter the girls dormitory when I pair of strong hands grabbed me from behind. I whipped around and saw Liam. I struggled to get out of his grip, I didn’t want to hurt Liam but I quickly kneed him in the knee cap. He let go off me and I jumped into the dorm. He tried to follow but he got shot back into the wall. No guys were allowed in the girl’s dorm.
I ran up to my room and pulled out the necklace and placed it on my neck. I examined my body. Everything on my body was disappearing. I pushed on my arm and pain shot through me. Louis was right; it just covers up the spots. I then quickly put on some casual clothes. I could hear Roxy stomping up the stairs; I quickly unlocked the window and jumped out onto the roof.
I rolled down the side of the roof, But I quickly grabbed a statue of a Pegasus and stayed put. I was out of view from the window but I could still see the window. Roxy was looking out with a worried face. I on the other hand was dangling from the statue. My hands were starting to slip so I decided to drop. I don’t know how far I fell but if it wasn’t for the spell on the castle I would have died. The spell stopped me 1 inch from the ground then I dropped to the ground. I went straight into a bush.
My body screamed with pain. I had a scrapped elbow and a cut on my hand but nothing big. I rolled over on to the grass. I forced myself to get up. It wouldn’t be too long before the others came out to try and find me. I slowly got up and went to a window on the side of school. I unlocked it and climbed in, I then found myself in the defense against the supernatural classroom. I walked out of the class room and sprinted down the hallway. I knew my friends couldn’t help me, I also knew I couldn’t do this alone. I needed someone who I knew could help me and that I didn’t have to worry about them. I kept walking up a long flight of stairs. I then found myself in front of the doors that held the one person I could actually help me. Slowly I opened the doors to the headmaster’s office.
