The sunlight streamed from the window really early in the morning. I got myself up and shut the curtains and tried to go back to sleep. It didn’t work… so then I decided to get up and get a jumpstart on my day. I quickly got changed in my uniform and added some makeup on, and then I went down to my locker. I opened it and searched around for some books. When I found what I needed closed the door and there stood Liam. I flinched really fast because I didn’t even realize he was there. “You made me flinch.” I said
“I believe the correct term is….I scared you.” Liam answered.
“Whatever you want to believe Mr. Smarty Pants.” I said
“Hey did you hear that the school is having a dance?” Liam asked
“No, is it for Halloween?” I asked
“Yup, and it’s really big.” Liam said
“Cool, I will probably just go with Roxy as friends.” I said.
“Or…since Roxy will get a date you could with one of the guys.” Liam suggested
“Wait…are you saying I can’t get a date?” I asked sounding offended.
“No! Not at all…I was just wondering if you might want to go with…me.” Liam squeaked
“Sure! This should be fun!” I exclaimed. Then I realized that I was just asked to a dance. Wow…wouldn’t mom be proud. We were just friends though. I didn’t feel any love feelings to Liam. Did I? I was so freaked out about the thought that I shoved it in the back of my mind with a bunch of other things I haven’t answered.
Later that day I saw Roxy chatting with Zayn. I quickly hid behind the corner to hear their conversation.
“So are we going to the dance together?” Roxy asked
“Yup, I don’t understand why we can’t tell them.” Zayn said.
“Well, Kelsey is too frustrated with this…necklace thing. “ Roxy said.
“We told the boys.” Zayn muttered
“Well the boys didn’t really care.” Roxy answered.
“Alright, we don’t tell Kelsey till after the dance.” Zayn offered
“Sure!” Roxy agreed. Then Roxy grabbed Zayn neck and kissed him on the lips. At first I thought he was going to be shocked, but no then Zayn kissed her back! And lemme tell you the way they were kissing, this wasn’t their first kiss.
The next day I woke up early again and did my hair and makeup again. I made my way down to the cafeteria with the other boys. I saw Zayn talking with the boys about something but when I came by I could quickly tell they changed the subject. Well I wasn’t going to play this game.
I walked over pretty fast and put my tray on the table. “So Zayn! Are you taking anyone to the dance?” I asked.
“Roxy and I are going together…friends only though.” Zayn said emphasizing ‘friends only though’. By then Roxy had come down and sat down next to Zayn. She began to look nervous as she knew what we were talking about. Well I was done with everyone and the games.
“Well last time I checked friends don’t lie to each other, they don’t keep secrets, and they don’t make out with each other!” I said matter-of-factly. I gave her a dirty look grabbed my book bag and stormed from the table. I could hear her scream for me to stop and that she needed to explain. Either way I was pissed so I ignored her and walked away.
I went to my locker and grabbed my books for the day. I slammed the door and there stood Louis. I jumped and I knew what he was going to say.
“Ok you scared me! You happy I said it” I screamed.
“I was going to say you flinched but either way works.” Louis said. Louis then winked at me. We both turned around and saw Roxy and all the other boys storming out looking for me. “Walk in front of me so they won’t see you.” Louis muttered. I quickly followed what he said and we went down some hallways. We were finally walking side by side when Liam appeared in front of Louis. Louis pretended to be scared and shoved me into a closet full of cleaning supplies.
“Liam, I didn’t see you there. What brings you here? “Louis asked
“I could ask the same for you Tomlinson.” Liam growled
“Dude, I own these hallways.” Louis said.
“Do happen to know where Kelsey is?” Liam growled.
“If I did, give me a reason why I should tell you.” Louis said.
“I know that you care for her! We need to explain something to her, she is hurt.” Liam said.
“No, last time I checked she was more annoyed and angry, then sad.” Louis said.
“Why do you have to be so cocky? Just tell me if you have seen her!” Liam shouted
“Well, of course I have seen Kelsey! Remember we met in defense against the supernatural class.” Louis smirked.
“Have you seen her today?” Liam growled
“Yup! I even helped her escape from you guys. She is actually very close then you would think.” Louis said. Liam’s eyes wondered to the closet I was in. He took once step but quickly stopped. “Sorry, I can’t let you see her if she doesn’t want to be seen.” Louis said. Louis then used his power and made Liam run down the hallway. Liam tried to shout something like I will get you but he was going so fast we didn’t hear. When that ended we both took a big breath.
“You should have seen his face!” Louis cried of laughter. While helping me out of the closet I was in. We were both laughing really hard I had to grip his shoulders to stay up. Louis tried to do imitations which were even funnier which caused us to laugh harder; I walked backwards with Louis still clutching his shoulders when I tripped on my feet and my back slammed in the wall. We were still laughing and I buried my head into his chest. When we finally calmed down I lifted my head and saw really big brown eyes. Louis was only 2 inches from my face. We both realized what position we were in. My right hand was on his shoulder and the other one was on his neck. Louis hands were both on my waist. I then found myself leaning in. Louis was slowly leaning in also. We were 1 centimeter apart when we heard Roxy coming down the hallway. We quickly ran for it and didn’t look back.

They almost kissed! HEHE! Ok so the next 2-3 chapters are going to be drama! But dont worry the necklace will be back in the story very soon.
