You're Still The One
The Everyday Fight
I get on the bus and head straight for Louis. I grab his arm and drag him off the bus. We get out of the bus, away from everyone else. I turn to look at him, his smirk letting me know what he thinks.
"Why would you lie? You should tell them the truth, so they'll smack some sense into you. They're your friends. Have you told them the truth, or do I?" I get out in one breathe.
"I did tell them the truth. Please stop being mad. By the way, you'll be staying at my place tonight." He says.
"Why?" I panic.
"So you can be ready in the morning."
"I can-"
"You can't, you won't get out of bed without my help."
"Well, there goes that chance of getting out of it."
"HEY, now you are definitely staying with me. I'll get your bags, but take out pjs and clothes for tomorrow first."
"Oh yeah." I take out pajamas and an outfit for tomorrow. I put them in my back seat, and go back on the bus. I pull out my phone and see a few new texts. My mom trying to text again.
"Where are you?" is her text.
"I'm going on tour with Louis and the boys. I'll be home to say goodbye, but then I have to leave again. I'll be there in a few." I text back.
"WHAT? WE ARE GOING TO TALK ABOUT THIS!" Louis comes up behind me. I turn to face him.
"I'm going to go say bye to my mom." I tell him.
"Can I come? I haven't seen your mother in a while." He asks.
"Okay? I guess it won't do any harm." Louis tells the other four. We get in the car and drive.
I step more and more on the brake as we arrive at my house. Louis steps out of the passenger side and runs over to my side. When I try to get out, he opens the door and helps me out. We walk to the door. It's my house, so I open the door. My mom comes up to me and hugs me. As she pulls away she notices Louis.
"Why are you going on tour, I thought you broke up?" My mom says.
"Unfortunately, Mrs. Day, we did , but she is coming with us to work it out between us." Louis replies for me.
"Oh, so you're just going to let him cheat on you again?" My mother asks me.
"Mom, I don't think-" I began.
"No, she doesn't think, she knows that I won't cheat on her again." He turns to me and gives me a sympathy grin."
"But how does she know? once a cheater always a cheater."
"Mom, it's my choice. I chose to talk, I chose to forgive, and I chose to give another chance. If you can't deal with that then I don't know what to tell you."
"I'm sorry, I'll just wait outside." Louis says.
"No, It's okay. We're leaving," I say. "Bye mother. I hope you enjoy not hearing from me."
And with that we left. He takes the steering wheel this time.
We arrive at his house. Again, he gets out and won't let me get out without his help. We get ready for bed, pajamas on, clothes (for tomorrow) set out.
"Where do you want me to sleep?" I ask.
"In the bed with me." Louis responds.
"Okay." We crawl into the bed. We fall asleep fast.
We awake to an alarm screaming at us. I'm snuggled into the blankets and Louis, until he gets up.
"Gosh darn you. You're warm." I say.
"Come on, before I throw you over my shoulder." he says. I grunt at his words.
"Okay, over the shoulder you go." He says as he pulls me weary body off the bed. Like he said he would, he puts me over his shoulder. He goes downstairs and grabs my clothes. He goes back upstairs and puts me down.
"Now do I have to get you dressed." He asks with a chuckle added to his tone.
"No." I say as he leaves. I quickly get dressed and go downstairs. He's already dressed. We have a fast breakfast and are out the door.
We arrive at the bus where the other boys are waiting.
