Chapter 7
Hadley shuddered at the venom dripping in Niall's voice. She grabbed him by his arm and started trying to take him out of the bar and out to her car so she could get him back to his apartment before he got into too much trouble. But he wasn't about to let her win that easy. He thrashed until his arm was out of her grip and managed to back hand her across the face at the same time giving her a bloody nose and that is when Liam couldn't handle just standing by any longer. He was taught to respect women and wasn't going to let Niall get away with that.
He went over to Niall and with the help of Zayn who was somewhat sober, he drug Niall out of the bar, practically kicking and screaming.
They managed to get him in the back of the car as Hadley got in the driver seat. Liam asked Zayn to make sure that Harry and Louis got to their apartments safely. Before Hadley could drive off, Liam got into the passenger seat and insisted he come along to make sure Niall and her got home okay. Hadley tried to object, saying that she needed the practice for the next three months but Liam said that this would be a one time thing. Hadley tried to wipe the blood that seemed to be flowing too rapidly out of her nose with no avail. Liam insisted she switch seats and let him drive. After some persuading, she agreed to it. Niall had already passed out in the back and was snoring. Liam came around to the other side of the car to tend to Hadley who is still bleeding. Hadley looked very surprised and impressed when Liam removed his shirt quickly and before she could protest, started using it to clean her up a bit. He tilted back her head to stop the bleeding and handed her his shirt and instructed she dab if any more blood should it appear. Then without another word, he got in the driver's seat and started to drive them to Niall's apartment. Liam was constantly asking Hadley if she was okay or if she needed anything. Hadley smiled out the window after answering him each time that she is fine. Her nose hurt a little bit but it stopped bleeding. She looked down at Liam's shirt in her hands and looked like she felt bad for ruining his shirt. Liam caught her looking at his abs, chest and muscles before turning away and blushing. Liam even blushed a bit himself at the thought of someone looking at his body. He broke the awkward silence by asking her to tell him a little about herself and then easy conversation began to flow between them like they have known each other for years. When they got to Niall's apartment, Liam carried Niall inside and tucked him into his bed before planting a tender kiss on his forehead like a father does to his child.
Hadley had a sweet smile on her face as she watched the scene in front of her. She held Liam's shirt and told him that he could have one of Niall's and she would wash his shirt and get it back to him soon.
He chuckled and said that Niall's shirts are too small for him. She blushed and insisted she would get to cleaning his shirt then. When she finished scrubbing it and sent it through the wash a couple times, she went upstairs to find Liam sitting on the couch staring out the window.
